Yeah Trez wasn't substituted, but Alex is the first penalty taker.
Good to see Trez been given the chance to catch Alex alright, Inter watch and learn!

He was. Alex even created the penalty that Trez scored from. Boriello will need to score three to be the top scorer. Even if there is a tie, Alex will match 'Paolo Rossi's record.
All aside, what a season it has been. This team has charachter, heart and a lot of potential. I prefer it, as is, to Fabio Capello's team. Good job Ranieri against all odds. Alex should start with Luca Toni for Italy...if Donadoni does not do so then he is legally blind or some other factors are in play. The guy is out of this world and is the best striker playingin Italy today especially with 11 goals in 8 games....I may have not said that two or three or even eight years back but now I feel it is justified.

Hope Ale's 21 goals doesn't get beaten by Boriello tomorrow. It's a fantastic achievement and he deserves the accolade. _________________ L'uomo tigre

Well done Ale
Looks like Dylan was right about the Sampdoria defender arriving, possibly a straight swap for Zebina.
Possibly another Samp player arriving next week too - Palombo.
Ranieri says that Iaquinta will be staying. Which makes sense as we will need 4 main forwards to cope with 3 competitions.
I must admit I was was expecting Mancini to arrive in exchange for Vincenzo to strengthen the left midfield-attack in expectation of Pavel playing only 50% of matches in new season. _________________ For sale: Set of second-hand Dachshund stabilizers, a child's Paul Simon costume, a set of windmill Top Trumps, £45 in used fivers, a 'Diana Convoy' Scalextric set and a set of nested bunk beds that sleeps eighteen progressively smaller people.

kudos to alex. Great achievement which must be recognised by Donadoni. Italy needs him. Great pro to show that hunger and desire for all these years. _________________ It's quieter than a church before the crowds arrive.

Zebina won't leave, nobody that might have an interest in him, can afford his wages. Highest paid defender in Serie A. He has been pretty good of late, I know, I know...but somehow on his day he can be first class. His main issue is concentration. If Molinaro's feet were half as good as Zebina's.

Yes Campagnaro and Palombo in exchange for Palladino. Sampdoria also requested Marchisio but Blanc said is not for sale. At that Marrotta asked for half of Marchisio for Cassano on a free in 2010, and Blanc said yes. I guess Brufolino will replace Pierino who, in view of the last few games, will be made a Saint.
3 games 1 deafeat and 2 draws. Is that Moratti's fault too?

Bro, I didnt hear, well we dont like Reds...but I also dont think Ranieri can deliver next year...
About Palladino, it is shame coach destroyed him...
Cassano is genius, I admit, but we have no man to handle his state of mind...
I think Amauri will come, he will be 5th choice striker...I think we can even see him in some preseason friendly vs Novara and vs Grosseto... or vs team of African refugees...
If they swap Marchisio for Palombo I will throw bomb to Secco home...
People do you think calciopoli worked...look at last five minutes Catania vs Roma
Great season...

Fratello on Calciopoli all I can say is that Juventus were guilty and they were justly punish. The injustice has been that others were guilty too but did not pay and got away with it. Even Totti, in fairness said so. That, sometimes, unfortunately is how life works out. And welcome to Italy.
Did Calciopoli work? Does anything connected to the legal system, of any shape or form, work in Italy? Has it ever?
Look at Guariniello look at way Juventus, Pierino in particular, were branded. And everyone and everything else ignored. Conveniently.
