It's nearly as quiet on here as the old foro!
Apparently Joaquin is available from Valencia, we should be breaking our backs to splash the cash on him - a long term quality replacement for Pavel, not Amauri, we have better strikers at the club.
We need a left winger, left back if Chiellini is going to play in the middle and an attacking midfielder. I'd probably say we need another defender too for when O-laugh becomes a flop.

Yeh Mellberg isnt gonna do a great deal imo.
Gigli is talking about 3 "champions" (Amauri, Grosso and Alonso) but we need more if we're challenging on 3 fronts next season.

Note how Ranieri has already sent out a warning that we need strength in depth. I hope he does kick up a fuss all summer altho that could mean he goes the way Deschamps.

Yeah, I think Amauri will be a good signing, but until I see that we've spent wisely in all departments, I'll retain the uneasy feeling that this administration isn't composed of football people.

Micky, Joaquin would be excellent. Can't see Secco having that kind of vision though.
Good to see you back as well. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

Apparently Amauri is now saying he may not want to leave Palermo. This guy seems more trouble than he is worth, I've said before I don't want him and need to strengthen in other areas first. I certainly don't want us to use Giovinco as a makeweight.
You don't um and ah when someone offers you a place at Juve, sod him, leave him to that Milan shambles - apparently Kaka is the new transfer chief........

Hiya all's going well thanks, yourself?
Not able to get on here as much as I'd like, seems a damn sight better than the old forum tho.
Hope everyone else is well, is there much bickering going on anymore (a la the old MLV/Ronaldo beef?) |
Having been doing much of note lately, other than going to Juve games that aren't actually on.
Not much bickering here really, we're all 'bickered-out' after calciopoli.

At least you're making the effort, I've not been for a couple of years now after a stint of regularity. How has it been getting tickets for the Olimpico?

Got them off the listicket site for the Parma game, took 2 hours, website kept stop working, timing out, blank pages etc and generally not wanting to do business. Took a month to get the refund, which was okay considering i'm not resident in Turin, so fair enough.
Catania game on Sunday, well...they went on sale 3pm Irish time yesterday, checked at 5pm and there was no link. There was a link today but couldn't buy them online, rang the call centre and they were sold out. I don't really understand why some games aren't sold online, if hooligans want them all they have to do is get them in a shop that is a lottomatica agent or ring the call centre.
Last season it was alot easier in my experience, then it was Serie B.

I got tickets the day before the Fiorentina game from a listicket news agent. Had to buy tickets seperately so i wasnt guarenteed to sit next to my friend, but it worked out fine.
Getting in to the stadium takes time even though its a small stadium, i could imagine with all the new security measures it takes a frustratingly long time in other bigger ones.

Amauri is AC Milan bound, there is no way Juventus will part with Lanzafame, Palladino or Giovinco. Nocerino and money is the limit.
Juventus are now making an offer for Gilardino who AC Milan are prepared to sell to Juventus following the Flamini deal. Apparently Secco did not 'insist' on Flamini as a 'favour' to Galliani and Gilardino in mind. Alberto is 24 and comes from a family of Gobbi and I would have him over anybody else.
I do not want Amauri, I don't like him, never did and never will.

And Nocerino to Palermo.
Its still not defo that Amauri is going to Milan if they except him instead of Giovinco.
Good on Secco for sticking with Seba though.

gila has at least proven himself, he was a 25gl forward two years on the trot in a lesser team, i guess he just didnt fit in with the milan ethic/atmosphere. Maybe he needs a change of scenery..the Thierry Henry case is a reminder....
