sms, nothing coming from the Rossoneri's side of Milan is making any sense of late. I'm just hoping my previous comments regarding Milan throwing away their chances of grabbing a CL spot will be proven wrong.

I was pleasantly surprised to read the following article:
http://www.time.com/time/specials...4,1733748_1733756_1735884,00.html
I’ll be popping into W H Smiths on the 14th to buy my copy.
Well done, Kaka.

Cheers Mezz. Thought it would be something like that.
How is life treating you at the moment ?
That Galliani would even think of selling Kaka makes me want to spew. Forget Ronnie Jnr & Shevchenko and invest in youth. Not players who are past their prime and would cost squillions in wages. _________________ Forza Milan

I'm doing fine princess, although I'd like to see more of you on la Foro than we have done over the last 10 months or so!
Are you on Facebook? Dels is, and although she's trying to retain an air of mystíque by not putting a profile picture up she's been tagged in a couple of pics so I now know what she looks like! _________________ ACF FIORENTINA : FORZA LA VIOLA

A vital three points. Champions League qualification is now in Milan’s hands for the first time since the start of the season!
With Roma beating Sampdoria, and Fiorentina losing (with Mutu being sent off), things are looking promising.
Nesta played very well (I only spotted one mistake!). Donkey’sini had a great game too! Inzaghi continues his goal scoring run (which has surely added to Donadoni’s ‘strikers to bring to Euro 2008’ dilemma). Kaka, having finally shrugged off his injury, is playing the football we come to expect from him. It’s also nice to see him play his most productive season yet (that is; in terms of goals scored).

Very important 3 points indeed! Nesta display just underlined why we need to sign another CB to help him. He sometimes looks like a one-man defence. I must say though even Kaladze played okay.
Now with the news that Flamini has joined, it would hopefully signaled an active mercato.

Nesta was and has been immense! What a class defender. Too bad he won't be going to the Euro's!
Where is Flamini going to slot in in the Milan midfield?
And what does this mean for Gourcuff?

Gattuso is clearly losing steam, while Brocchi and Emerson are just not good enough. Flamini's versatility means he can play in any of the DMs role currently occupied by Ambro and Rino. He's a better passer of the ball than Ambro and Rino, nicks a goal here and there, younger and can even play full back ! If he can maintain his current form, I expect him to be a starter in the very near future.
I'm still wondering why Nesta quit the NT.

come on chaps. The CL needs you.
Not a good day at the office for any half of Milan yesterday then.
At this rate you might even lose Kaka if you are only in the UEFA cup. _________________ It's quieter than a church before the crowds arrive.

Honestly I don't think we can make the CL. Fio would have to be real stupid to let it slip off them this time around.

What do you think the likelihood of losing Kaka is if you dont get Champs League?
Kaka always struck me as someone who is loyal (although he gets paid 143k a weelk at Milan) much like Buffon or Del Piero etc.
Although your transfer strategy is going to look different if you finish 5th.

I believe that Kaka will only leave Milan if they are – for financial reasons – forced to sell him. How they can have financial problems, I don’t quite understand, when you consider how much prize money they must have received since 2003, not to mention their financial backing coming from certain ‘powerful individuals’.
Kaka is a man of immense integrity and has proven that he is not tempted by money (remember which club offered four times as much money for his services in 2003, yet he chose Milan?).
If Milan finish fifth, Kaka will probably come out with a comment similar to this: “Everything happens for a reason in football. By finishing fifth, we now have a great opportunity to restructure our team and freshen up in a few departments. We will also have a great opportunity to win the UEFA Cup; the only competition that this great Club has yet to win.”
I don’t believe CA is the man to carry Milan forward. As I’ve written before – he has done a wonderful job and has brought the team great success. I just feel that some managers can take a club only so far. In recent seasons, he and those with the power to buy haven’t shown much forward thinking nor creativity in the transfer market. So much has been written already about Milan dismal transfer campaigns of late, so I won’t go there.
I would love to see Mourinho, Lippi or perhaps even Benitez. But I have a distinct feeling that regardless of whether Milan finish fourth or fifth, CA will be in charge next season.

Through out this season I’ve been amazed by how many of Sampdoria’s starting eleven have been Italians. Of the 14 players involved during their game against Juventus this afternoon, 13 were Italian.
Does anybody know of any other teams that regularly field so many 'home-grown' players?

Great to see Cafu score in his last appearance for Milan. Congratulations to Fiorentina, who have been the 4th best team in Serie A this season. UEFA Cup for Milan next season it is then. Hope CA does the right thing and walks away.
