Disappointed for Prandelli though. Shame Pazzini couldn't step up more this season and help fill the void left by Toni, still young though.

Moratti is kidding himself if he thinks he can pinch a CL title with a side that has to carry two or three washed up players he can get on the cheap (Figo, Maniche, VIEIRA, Crespo).

Lost all faith in Mancini. Again when in the spotlight he goes defensive, more worried about the fall out of losing than trying to win a game. Why change a side that has won four on the trot (mostly on the back of Balotelli) and bring on Maniche & Crespo, and bench Balotelli & Maxwell. If Stankovic wasn’t fit the obvious move was to play Jimenez (who played well in the first derby this year) to give the midfield some quick movement and creativity but I reckon Mancini is scared Vieira will eat him if he doesn’t play and don't know how Maniche came into the mix. Maxwell has been playing well and gets rewarded by being benched for the most important game of the season, great for his confidence.

A derby game which had more bragging rights than most and a chance to right the wrongs of over a decade and that’s the best they show. It was like watching Inter-Juve of last month all over again.

totally agree Ferri.
Did Mancio think he would outsmart Carletto by playing a poor player who has not featured much for us in midfield (Maniche).
Jiminez is a good player who offers more going forward than any other of our midfielders, but Mancio was obviously not wanting to lose, rather than wanting to win.
If we blow it next week I am sending my CV into Moratti.
Its all about destiny in our own hands. Lets go and win it with confidence.

Mancini has lost the plot...although to be fair the writings been on the wall for a while.Without Jimanez thers no creativity and theres too much of the sameness about all the midfielders.Viera and Stank are past it and the sooner Hleb arrives the better.

Although if Mouriniho arrives maybe Lampard, Hleb and Drogba could be on the team next August

BnB did you end up going to the game?

Was expecting a report.

Let me guess you were standing with Brianza

Ferri, apologies for my "get a life" jibe back a few months ago in the 'Justice' thread, that was out of order of me.

Think this might be one of those weeks when a press blackout might be a good idea.
Pressure seemed to get to our guys yesterday, even though they should be thrilled to go out there and win a scudetto for their team.
Let's be positive, not nervy.
Not looking forward to next Sunday as I have a soft spot for Parma and Il Mister Cuper and obviously if we win they go down.
This could have been a better Monday.
Think Mancios jacket is on a shaky peg this morning.
Bigger blow is that el cuchu is out next week as well.
Need the whole team to step up to the plate and take responsibility next week.
Fair play to Roma, they are playing  the better football and have the better form at the moment.

add in Inter have a poor record away to Parma, which hopefully we snapped by sneaking over the line last season.

By far Roma have been the better side on the return, we've been poor since Christmas and were lucky Dida gifted us the derby, in hindsight probably needed the loss then to give us a reality check.

Deserves to go down to the last round and couldn't begrudge whoever ends up with it.

If we don't win it the fall out could be interesting but I reckon Capitano & Balotelli will win it for us.

Weird that Parma sack Cuper (former Inter boss no less) in the lead up to their final game of the season.

slightly concerned that inters website shows that il capitano did some work in the pool yesterday therefore indicating some sort of injury.
Is he going to miss the Parma game ?
Have visions (nightmares) that Maniche may need to play in midfield. Doh!!

Oh well here we go for the weekend then.
Easy team talk this Sunday for mancio.
Tell matrix to stay calm and stay on the pitch and try not to be the hero/ villain of every piece.
tell the chaps to play a normal 60 minutes of positive play without nerves. Then go hammer and tongs.
Think of all the fans that cannot get to the game and use that as something of a grudge against the authorities and win it to spite them.
Dream of getting back to Piazza Duomo and setting the place black and blue until the wee small hours.
If mancio cannot get them to do it he must go. He probably will anyway as I have a sneaky feeling thats what he agreed with Moratti after his Liverpool defeat rant.
Prandelli (if he would leave Fio) or Mourinho would do me.
Forza ragazzi !!
Remember to set the sky+ boxes chaps to watch it all night.

You forgot to mention a reminder of Lazio in 2002!

And keep your hands off Prandelli.

I'd have thought that posting a picture of black pussy on the forum was against the rules, but there you go...
