Im just amazingly jealous of the lot of you.... its times like this when i just sit down and hit myself for not coming to europe for univ hahaha

interestingly, i was extremely close to going to prague, i even decided il support sparta praha over dukla just because sparta had a cooler name hahaha.... other european options included glasgow and bremen...  of course, im here in florida... but there are SOME perks to being here.. eg i actually got a car

anyway, enjoy your games, il make it to one soon enough, last proper game iv been to in person was umm trinidad and tobago vs bahrain in novemember 05... long time ago

its a pity its looking like a seriously understrength milan side to face arsenal but hope you enjoy it anyway. let us know how it goes!

Went well ta, Milan rode their luck a bit but got the result they wanted and could have nicked it with a bit better linkup play. Pirlo and Kaka had shooting chances as well, but tried being too cute. Always good to stand with the BRN too, weren't as mental as last time I was with them but still good fun.

Went to see Leicester City play Bristol City earlier today.  It somehow ended 0-0 with Leicester missing about a dozen really good chances.  I don't know how Bristol City are top of the league on that performance.

I've seen Brizzle a few times this season (I'm 10mins from Ashton Gate here at uni) and they're very average, really. I think they'd be better off missing out on promotion for this season and strengthening the team for Premiership survival, otherwise they'll become a yo-yo side.

On the positive side, Gary Johnson's a terrific manager. Am I right in saying that if City finish top two, he'll have won promotion from every division from Conference up? Mighty impressive.

I think every side in the Championship would be a yo-yo side if they were to get promoted.  Every side I've seen at Leicester in recent years (Including Leicester), with the possible exception of West Brom last season would get annihilated in the Premiership like Derby have been.  The gap in quality is huge.

Gary Johnson has indeed done very well at Bristol City as their league position testifies.  Shame Ian Holloway doesn't have his management skills...

Didn't see that match, although it does stick in the memory unlike most of the extremely dull matches played out in recent seasons.

Was at the Barca v Villareal last weekend with my mates.
We pick some games we would like to see in a couple of leagues and then vote to see which one we go to.
This year it was barca that got it and had a very good weekend there. Shame Messi got injured against Celtic in the CL as I was looking forward to seeing him play.
Henry was poor and I would have subbed him before half time. Eto'o looks the part but seemed to be doing all the work up front on his own.
Senna for Villareal had a great game.
Don't know where next year will take us, just hope the wife will let me go as it is hard work watching the two young kids on her own.

Not bad. Not up to Roma 5-1 Lazio though, when Montella scored one (of his four) from 25 yards, in off the crossbar, Stankovic lashed one into the far top corner from about 35 yards, and Totti scored the last one with a delicate chip over the goalkeeper from 25 yards, brushing the crossbar as it dropped in. Never seen three better goals in a game than that, off the top of my head.

Having had no sleep and being on a massive downer, the last thing I should have done yesterday was go to Charlton v Wolves. I did, and it was shit. And just to toy with my already fragile emotions, we get an equalizer in the 90th only for Wolves to make it 3-2 in the 94th. Season over.

I still might go to Plymouth away next week, but meh. All about Fiorentina v Palermo and Siena v Genoa in 3 weeks.

it can't be good to see mick mccarthy beat you! i truly feel sorry for you.

My next game is Roma v Manu on tuesday night. gonna need a whole lotta Magica now that Totti & Juan are missing.

the worst thing is the manu 'supporters' here, so smug but they can't even name half their team and only watch the edited highlights shows...whats the point in even arguing with them??

Sorry to see that the juve-parma game got canceled... according to this myles was supposed to go! thats just plain bad luck!
Condolences to the fan and his family... Luckily this is completely different to prior incidents and I think the mature response of the two teams and their fans may show that ... at least on the surface, some things have changed since those dark days...

Former Millwall as well! I missed Plymouth away to go to Ebbsfleet v Woking, so of course we won. Havn't made any games since then and now our season's over, so my next Charlton one will probably be pre-season.

Considering I'm in Uni at Southampton, I havn't done too badly for myself this season, 8 home games, 8 away, plus 2 cup (1 home/1 away) and 2 away in pre-season.

As I said in the Viola thread I saw Fiorentina v Palermo on Saturday, then got the train down to Siena to see them play Genoa. Very impressive, picturesque town. I got a ticket a the corner of the Genoa area, they had been given about 2000 but took over a few of the home areas too, and put on a very good show. Not sure when I'll next make it to Italy, I finish Uni in 2 months which'll mean no more loans and being thrown out into the big bad, real world.

Hmm... Have had a boring afternoon so worked out how much I have spent watching Charlton battling their way to midtable obscurity this season, including tickets, travel, food, drink, etc...

8 home games have cost me approx £230, 8 away £455, plus 4 cup/pre-season £105, bringing me up to the grand total of round about £790. I need to sort my life out.

If you include Arsenal-Milan plus trips to Milan and Florence, that's not far from £1500. Hmm indeed.

Off to see Newcastle against Chelsea in a few hours. Last home game of a pretty poor season that has only been worth wathcing in the past 7 games or so. However as much as I want us to hammer Chelsea it's going to hand the league to Manure so thats not ideal but 3 points for the toon is more important. Finished higher than boro nd the mackems so that was the high point of the season.
