Yeah, that seems to be the problem everywhere: clubs searching for a bargain abroad - we only have to compare the price of Darren Bent to the cost of Arsenal's first team...

I couldn't agree more :- Milan fans say no to Sheva:

Good to see Pippo & Kaka back and scoring... Perhaps its not too late to grab that UEFA Cup place (I won't stick my neck out and say that last Champions League spot)

McCartney from West Ham?

Sheva returning?

What is going on with Fester and Co. at Milanello?  Hardly inspiring signings.

Surely more fan protests to come

Its just a pity they're occurring now, when unity is needed more than ever!

Three points against Juve on the weekend could spurn I bianconeri into panic stations. Especially if Samp, Udinese and Fiorentina all win. My gut feeling - when considering the Milanese back line being absent - suggests a draw is the most realistic result.

'Kakha welcomes Sheva talk'

Why not invite some of your Ukrainian friends over if you want a face-to-face chin-wag in Ukrainian... Sheva's made everyone perfectly clear where (or should I say 'what') his intentions are…

'Serie A slides down rich list'

…and so it will continue. The Wealth gap between the premiership and the rest of Europe will continue to increase (helped by the big 4s regular appearances in
CL Semi finals/Finals etc)... The Billionaires playground, I think they call it...

'Galliani explains Intertoto entry'

I had totally forgotten about the 'back door entrance'! Choosing this road would surely mean perpetual burnout for most of the players... Decisions, decisions...

Intertoto? That shows how low we've gone  Though Galliani would always have an answer/excuse/defence for any situation. IT would be extremely foolish to get back sheva, as he will take up the non-eu spot which would be needed to sign a striker. Not that sheva is not good, but I don't see him as a solution.

I have no prob with R10. He's still an incredible talent, the best on his day. He's not like R99 who's injured most or all of the time. I bellieve all he need is a serene environment to go back to his best. He is 'gamble' (not even sure if it can be called that) worth taking.

Simic was truly horrible for Milan.

the free kick against Maldini that led to the goal was highly questionable.

Bonera's tackle on Sissoko was terrible.  What was he thinking?

Duncan, we've suffered a lot from refs bad calls the last two seasons. But that's neither here nor there. We lost simply cos we are poor. Bonera was stupid, but  I can't help thinking the equally stupid ref contributed. The ref ignored some bad tackles from that sh*tCamo on Seedorf and Maldini. Bonera was simply enraged.

Milan-Juve battle for Torres

If the worst happened for Liverpool and they were forced to sell Torres, then Milan would be fouls not pursue him ahead of all their other ‘potential’ transfer targets. I fear that both Juve and Milan would be out bided by Manure who would (judging by their history with Torres) surely be first in line for the striker.

Something to do with the loan that Gillet / Hicks took out in the summer to buy Torres possibly not being paid back due to the ownership tug-of-war that's going on at Granny Stabbers FC right now.

As neither of them know who'll be running the club in the foreseeable future, it seems neither of them want to keep servicing the debt meaning that Torres could eventually be sold to pay off the lender.

I don't think the Scousers necessarily have to sell Torres, but none of their other players (excluding Gerrard) could fetch the £20M+ needed to close the loan. Potentially, they could sell a combination of players (say Crouch, Pennant & Xabi Alonso) to raise the money, but that would deplete the squad considerably meaning yet more money would be required to replace them.

I believe Ryan Babel is in the same boat, with roughly £10M needing to be paid back from the loan that was taken out to buy him from Ajax in the summer too.

So now, Galliani has said we are in the "red" for 24m. How's that possible? I mean we have not spent much in the transfer market, while we won both the CL and the CWC.

The most ridiculous aspect of his statements was saying the shareholders 'forced' him to renew Dida, Serginho, cafu's contracts, and siging the likes of Emerson. He capped it all by saying the books could be balanced by selling Kaka

The man is a clown by all standards, but this time he has surpassed even himself
