Well, Moggi appeal was rejected...despite I think now that most of things he said were true.

Simply look at last night, we were robbed by clear penalty, and Roma was also punished in several situations of Lazio game...

Cant see farsopoli end...and result will be no Italian team in Champions League ( I dont see Roma beating United ) and Azzurri will probably fail in EURO...

But again, I dont care...will go to see our players, whistle to morons in the board and 'si' coach...

Last night we were awful...next is Mensa FC...they are shit but will play 14  vs 11...only that funny crowd could turn against their shitty team if we take lead...

Inter has no fans at all...it is our biggest advantage even we are banned to travel to Meazza. Some will come

Pitiful performance Fratello, no ideas, no game plan, no system like 'oratorio' team. I know we haven't got Platini, Zidane, Baggio but if we did Ranieri would most probably bench them.

Lanzafame gets Under 21 call up with Giovinco and Marchisio.

Amauri? No please, no!

Very true.  I get the impression that if given the choice of signing Baggio or Sissoko (Hypothetically of course) he'd take Sissoko.

I missed the game....and I am so glad I did!!

We all have to accept that the rest of the season will be something like this - one step forward, one step backwards and so on until we finsh third or fourth which, frankly, is not bad. However, given that none of the other teams has been impressive it is in our DNA to want to win  a scudetto.

Inter is next...they are way better on paper but who knows....we play best when our back is against the wall.....

Liam you are 100% on Ranieri, for certain Secco would!

Rossi we just may just surprise the Interdetti.

Next season, how do you think Giovinco will be accommodated in the team? He's a phenomenal little player and could really inject some creativity.

I see the inevitable Lippi links are resurfacing. How realistic do you think it is that he will be on the Juve bench next season?

I reckon he'll play on the right wing as he did at the end of our Serie B season, it seems to be his best position. Camoranesi will probably be injured alot, or maybe Camoranesi could play in the center like against Roma, it worked in that game.

Who knows! Hopefully he is.
80-90% of chances on goal can come from free-kicks or corners, at the moment we don't make any use of this fact under Raneiri, it is a waste. Under Lippi we had alot of different 'plays' for our indirect free-kicks and even some corners, but we never did the same move in two consecetive games, but would maybe use the same move a few weeks later. In Italy and in Europe it caught alot of teams by suprise as our free-kick plays were unpredictable. These were all practised in closed training sessions under Lippi. Obviously Ranieri doesn't practise any 'plays' on the training ground because he or his staff don't have Lippi's secret book. Ranieri does the bare minimum to pick up his pay check at the end of the week, any one of us could put the players in their correct positions, it's not rocket-science. Lippi went the extra mile as one would expect from an employee well paid (by the supporters buying merchandise, tickets and television rights).

Forget Lippi! The club new administration have moved on, the Triade days are finished. For good! Ranieri will be there next season too, then, perhaps, with C. League money, more sponsors and youngsters having made the grade top 'guns' will be coming to Juventus again in total around 5 years from relegation. As  Blanc made clear at the beginning of his mandate. And with the purchase of the Delle Alpi, if trhere will be, Ranieri's replacement will have to be a big name.

I think Giovinco could replace Nedved in the team next season on the left wing.  When I've seen him play for Empoli he's been used there most of the time.

Ranieri will still be here next season if Secco's still here, which he will be.  The reality is that the present Juventus is willing to accept 3rd place, and if that's achieved there'll be no changes at the top.

Eve if Juve beat Inter, Roma would probably screw it up and tie Empoli

But, a hat trick for Trez tomorrow?

A question for Juventinos...

I've been reading this thread all season and I just don't get the pessimism. What were you guys realistically expecting?
You've returned after a year out, with virtually the same squad (aged by a year), spent neglible money in the summer on new recruits and yet lie 3rd. I'd say Ranieri, given the resources has done a pretty good job.

Was a CL finish seriously not the best one could've hoped  for? Even Buffon was considering leaving and said while he'd suffer out a season in Serie B, he couldn't bear the thought of not being competitive in Serie A.

Plus, last summer on this board there was loads of talk about big names coming in...but without European football you couldn't realistically expect to compete in the transfer market.

Good luck today.

Giovinco stiffs the Romolini with a goal and Perrotta sent off for kicking  Piccolo. An obvious conspiracy ochestrated by...ah...Secco?

Liam you're right, Giovinco played on the left at the end of Serie B, not on the right as i said earlier.

Zeds, we're in third with the same players that played in Serie B, so we're pissed off because if the administration had done their job right and got decent players we'd be higher. True we didn't have much bargaining power since we weren't in Europe but we could've signed better players than we did. Besides players these days don't care about trophies so much as the money they are offered. I prefer give the money to better players than to shareholders. Since when is a club a company!

I'd agree with Myles response to Zeds.  In August we were hoping for a Champions League place, but were worried that wouldn't happen.  The opening performances suggested it'd be pretty tough to achieve a CL place, but the team got better and has long looked comfortable in 3rd place.

The disappointing thing is that this team is made up almost entirely of players who played in Serie B.  Its key men are Buffon, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, Zanetti, Camoranesi (When he's fit), Del Piero and Trezeguet.  All of those played in Serie B.  In fact Legrottaglie wasn't even a key player in Serie B!

Considering a good amount of money was invested on Andrade, Almiron, Tiago, Sissoko and Iaquinta (The one success of the big summer purchases), the fact that none of those are key players (3 have barely played, 4 if you count January signing Sissoko) says that the money was badly invested, and with a more intelligent transfer campaign more could have been achieved.

I never thought we'd win the Scudetto, but I feel 2nd place could have been realistic.  With the squad he has I feel Ranieri has generally done well, but as I hinted earlier, I'm not sure I like the direction I feel he wants the team to go in.  I get the impression he was a key protagonist in the signing of Sissoko, a player the team didn't need.  Its obvious more creativity in midfield is needed, but I don't think Ranieri sees it that way.  I worry about the summer, especially if the squad is built in "Ranieri's model".

Buffon, Camo and Iaquinta in the Italian squad against Spain. No Alex.
