Hi all, long time no post... anyway, if it was anyone else, I would have been surprised, but considering its Dida, not so much haha..
I think hes just looking for an excuse to say hes injured and that kalac isnt just a better keeper than him...
I suspect even reserve keeper fiori may have less shaky hands..

anyway, best of luck to milan this week, il support the italians as ever!

Thans, badman. YOu are right about Kalac. I also think he's disaster waiting to happen. Anyway, he is doing 'okay' at the moment, so...

okay is definitely better than the alternative, so leave kalac in place...

I always found it unfortunate for abbiatti, he got injured just before the ucl final and dida stepped in and never let him back in... I always rated him as better than dida, just people had magical memories of dida saving juventus penaties (even though trez cant kick them properly)

anyway, its about time hes been dropped...

It appears we are without both Kalac and Dida. So probably Professor Fiori would step in between the posts

well done, excellent performance considering the fouling and diving from arsenal. with all the injured players and those recovering from injury, you could say that pirlo and ambrosini were the only fit players for milan tonight. considering that pirlo was singled out for a kicking from half the arsenal squad and ambrosini had to signal to seedorf to stop passing him the ball, so exhausted was he, i think it was a class performance to hold them to just 6 shots.

especially sweet as their silent fans only roused themselves to boo pato off on a stretcher. classy fans.

to be honest, i expected more from the game from both sides... milan defended astutely but never got going up front... pato seemed out of it and whenever he got the ball he expected to just walk through the defence, as though hes playing livorno or something...

No office to the youth, cause he didnt have much in the way of help from seedorf, pirlo, kaka, ambro etc... i found the quality of passing from both sides quite bad to say the least.. also that when milan finally passed into promising positions, they either had no one to cross to or just crossed badly (eg. oddo)..

i hope the attacking prowedss of the team can show up at the san siro... they need it

Decent result for Milan.   Hope Nesta is not seriously injured.

For me, Maldini was man of the match.    How impressive is that!  He is just so good still it is frightening

I think you've summed it up excellently  If there's a game that underlined our need for additional midfielders, this is it. I mean Pirlo might as well not be on the pitch. While we saw the classical Seedork display  An 'okay' result, considering the way we played. Now we need to step it up bad bad at the San Siro.

Why not play Gourcuff when the others are obviously off their game?

After playing in my soccer league the other night, and being 40, I am even more impressed that Maldini can train and play at such a high level more and more.   How come he never gets mentioned in amy Top 10 all time players?

Maldini is amazing, the fact as you say he plays and trains at such a high level is amazing, the fact he remains so good is even more mind boggling!

Crucial goal by Inzaghi – he hasn’t scored in the league for ages! I really was expecting another draw. I just hope Kaka isn’t badly injured!

Boriello had a hattrick and is tied for the lead in scoring.  Maybe Milan's source for goals next season is right under their noses.

Bring him back , swap Gila for Barzagli, and their is your goalscorer with Pato next year and your new defender.

Gila could also reignite is scoring, much as Toni did at Palermo

That's an interesting scenario, duncan. However, I'm not sure Borriello would make it at Milan. Him and Gila can do it big time for middle-of-the-table teams, but not the big teams.

Could be true.  I thought about that as well.

But how much will you have to spend for another target, and who is available?
