And come to think of it - we should have kept Blasi, Marchisio or Paro. Zanetti can not cope with high tempo teams including Cagliari and definitely Roma. Nocerion can not commit to defense.

And Lazio are fools for not having signed Foggia when they had the chance...

A very lethargic performance yesterday and we were so lucky not to lose. Camo changed the game, he was that extra bit of creativity that we needed in the middle. Where was Almiron? very disappointing.
Nedved, ADP and Trez were all below par as well.
Buffon was majestic and I'm so glad we didn't sell Chiellini, he was ace. Great tackles and a great header to win the game. He was the most passionate player on the pitch.

The less said about Zebina the better......

We need to get our fitness levels up. We are surviving on superior technique to get us through games but that wont work against the other big clubs.

Once Marchionni, Grygera and Iaquinta are back it should allow us more depth though.

I thought yet again that Palladino deserved a runout, maybe replacing Del Piero in the final 10.

Dylan absolutely agree about the referees this season, we are gonna be playin against 12 men every week.

Chellini did ok but do not forget that most of the dangerous balls came from his side as Foggia ran havoc over there. Anyway, three points are three points - two penalities against Juve apparently and a third one that was rightly over-turned as otherwise it would have been a silly joke.

Trez did nothing but he did what he knows best - score a goal from what otherwise would have been a dead ball!!!

Rossi, I'm here at last, thanks. (Truffler)

Zebina's absence will enable Molinaro to appear in a refashioned back 4. Grygera still some 2 weeks away according to club.

Almiron did not play well but then again who did, apart from Chiellini, Buffon and Camoranesi.

The match against Udinese on 16th September is an oppotunity to start with Camo and hopefully, Tiago.

Just wanna say that we have no right to shoot at Almiron...today statictics showed he won most clashes at midfileld and fight like hell...ok he run out of idea but still man is warrior.

I am afraid of Zanetti being tired...it means we will be lot weaker in midfield as Cristian is revelation of the season...another great player we get free from biggest losers of Italian soccer...

Still we will go for defender onin the winter...Canavaro and possibly Ivanovic ( if Russians accept 10 million...still I doubt as Chelsea will offer more )...guy is most talented defender in Europe...

Buffon will keep us...he cant concede and I hope refs wont give three penalties vs us every game...

With two penalties against us, we are still able to beat anyone ...as we score between three and five every game...

Fully agree on Zanetti. We do not have cover for him if he is injured. I think apart from the central defender issue, we are guilty of not having kept one of paro, Marchisio and Blasi as they could have supported Zanetti.

I think we're already seeing just how important it was to secure Buffon. His save at 1-1 was crucial, and he was so unlucky with the first penalty.

For me Buffon earned his stripes when he first shut Zebina up about the 1st penalty and then had Chiellini in a headlock to shut him up for the 2nd!

It must be awesome to have that presence in goal if you're a defender.

Marchisio's loan was a criminal offence.

Ibrahimovic wanted out, I can't blame the club for that.

18 years ago Gaetano Scirea died in a car crash in Poland.

Fratello Gai was special!
