Right, as defending champion, I feel I ought to keep my formidable lineup in relative tact. I've assembled a cracking squad, just a few additions in this transfer window, but sadly we had to say 'farewell' to some of them just the same. Apologies for this late submission:
1. Kirk Douglas
2. Fidel Castro
3. Michael Foot
4. Betty Ford
5. Ken Dodd
6. Gough Whitlam
7. Ariel Sharon
8. Osama Bin Laden
9. Nelson Mandela
10. Dame Vera Lynn
11. Bill Brown (the last living person to have played in the same test team as Don Bradman)
12. Elizabeth Taylor
13. Malcolm Allison

Interesting lists, I must say.
I did give serious thought to Britney Spears and Bobby Robson.

Likewise - but Spears will probably be placed in a padded cell before too long and kept alive, and I couldn't quite bring myself to nominate Sir Bobby as my 'guaranteed to be kept alive for another year as a result of nomnination' candidate.

They're not nominations, they're part of a 'wish list'! _________________ Non mollare mai.

Ah, Sir 'Thrush' (otherwise known as the irritating c**t) has finally managed to find us.
Only took about four months to work out the impenetrably cryptic messages on how to get here too.
Clever boy. _________________ ACF FIORENTINA : FORZA LA VIOLA

George, I see you saw the thread in the other forum before they deleted it. Mezz (though he probably won't admit it) had left a reply to your last post asking where we'd all gone to.

Sir John Harvey Jones has died after a long illness. Long perhaps, but not very well publicised to those compiling their Totodeath lists.

If you look at the last post in the La Liga thread on this very forum, you'll see that I confessed all about my lapse of judgement.
I'm just a sucker for a fool, see?

Bobby Fischer, former world chess champion and former citizen of US has died, aged 64. Another one who is now reported as having been ill for some time - why is this reported after they die? Makes it so hard to assemble a credible Totodeath squad!!
