Its all quiet, but its been done before.
If anything i'm hoping for an experienced quality defender... but i doubt it will happen. |
I seriously had expected at least one last minute signing but none came through...we have a decent team but I agree a defender is badly needed...

Worst referee ever. Not a great game, both teams were sloppy and I think you should be very happy to come out with 3 points from that.

worst game I have ever seen Juve play. They looked fat, slow, unable to play across the floor. Absolute shower of shite in defence tbh.
Lucky to get a result but at least the dodgy refereeing wasnt for us this time so cant moan.

Can't help thinking Cagliari was robbed. Dreadful game.

The referee was awful. He's up there with Rob Stiles. I share the optimism over Zebina being banned. I have to admit Del Piero looked totally past it for most of the game, he just doesn't seem to have any pace whatsoever. We only started creating chances when Camoranesi came on.

I'm relieved to get the win from that match after what wasn't a great performance. Camoranesi got the assist for all 3 goals, and he was the difference. We may not like him, but he's going to be an important player this season if he keeps that form up. As well as Camoranesi, Buffon was the only one above average though, which is worrying. The defence were caused a lot of problems, especially down the flanks with Foggia very dangerous for Cagliari.
Then of course there is Jonathan Zebina, who is at best a Serie C player. Constantly down his side Cagliari had a lot of space to play in, he then gives away a penalty, before deciding to get sent-off and slapping a cameraman/photographer. I celebrated his sending off, because I believe the team was better off with 10 men without Zebina than 11 with Zebina. I hope he never ever plays for Juventus again, no matter what. A toddler would not be so foolish or error prone. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

And a toddler would be better at dribbling.

I don't think Zebina gave penalty away.
Apart from sluggish the Gobbini are rather angry and agitated
Camoranesi made a big difference.
It was hot out there as well.

Yes it was ugly, but we have three points. If Camo and Buffon made the difference, and Trez scored from the one time he touched the ball, then this is what distinguishes a great team from a good team. Individual players who lift the team when 7 or 8 players are playing crap.
Zebina should be shipped back to France. He was looking for a fight even after the first penalty was awarded and he had nothing to do with it all. I think his ban will not be less than two or three games which is good news for us. I can not stamd this guy and have not seen his value for years now. In fact, in ther 04/05 season it is him who gifted Cagliari a point when Zola, yes 40-year old 1.5 m zola, jumped higher than him to head the ball in.
WE ARE SCORING A LOT OF GOALS - NOT TYPICAL JUVE - BUT ALLOWING A LOT OF GOALS IN - NOT TYPICAL JUVE EITHER.

Missed the game due to work commitments. Heard we were dogshit. But let's put things into perspective - we've just been promoted.
Must have been bad, however, to have been the "worst game I have ever seen Juve play". Not remember Celta Vigo away in 2000?

Bad, bad performance...but six points out of two games...still we started well...
Buffon was magnificient and he really saved us...
I must admit merda Camoranesi was inspirational today...
Capitano was bad and it is biggest reason for our performance....
Zebina is stupid, even he would have kick that merda with camera in the ass...f**king Sardegna it is like in Albania not Italy...
But Legrottaglie is moron...I have never seen such idiot in Juve shirt...man, man, man...
We have to beat Udinese in next round ( there is break next week ) and then travel to Rome...if we repeat Cagliari performance Roma will hammer us...

What an uncomfortable game to watch! But Camo did some great stuff. Whatever he does off field at least he can speak with his play on field. Unlike the fool Zebina. The sooner he's shipped out the better. _________________ L'uomo tigre

I agree with Dylan, i think the heat affected both teams. I hope it isn't an attitude problem or we will be fighting to stay in Serie A if we continue to play like that today.
Zebina is a liability, Gygera is injured so it is the only time when Juve use Zebina, and he gets sent off and a suspension, very unprofessional. Obviously we all prefer Zebina not to play, but it is unprofessional nontheless. He should be sold in January for free and if no other team will buy him we should loan him out even if we still pay half his wages, because paying this idiot money every week is a complete waste of the clubs money.

Actually, Channel 5 had salihamidzic down as right back and Nocerino in the middle on their team sheet. Ranieri should have stuck with that.
any word on bracco's thigh strain? he looked in some pain.

Channel5 breasts with mouth is pitiful, when asked to define a 'fantasista' could not even thin of the Divino himself, Roberto Baggio.
Look here guys if we got 3 points playing Zebina, Lefrattaglie and Boumsong during the same 90 minutes there is hope yet.
And, fratello especially, Juventus are notoriously slow starters. Will Pierino get any quicker? He certainly can read the game. The big miss? It can happen and consider the games he won for Juventus in the past.
I still prefer this lot to the Capelliani.
If we can't beat we will beat them up!
Where is Raj?
