I feel sad even typing this: Antonio Puerta aged only 22.
So young and talented.

I put it in things that make us unhappy as well. Sad, sad news. _________________ Non mollare mai.

Terribly sad news.
This is not meant to appear crass and insensitive following the subject matter of the two above postings, but do we wish to transport the totodeath competition across?

Doubt anyone had this on their list, but anyway as a Dublin Gaelic Football supporter....
Tom Mulligan, Dublin Senior Footballer.
Committed suicide on Sunday after we lost to Kerry in the All-Ireland semi-final.

VIVA LA REVOLUCION has now been banned from the C4 forum due to promoting himself and/or his own interests.
Someone, please, crack a 40 on the kerb for our fallen homey.
(Myles, I would expect that Alpi has gone the same way...)

Alpi has indeed gone the same way...
They haven't deleted the poll or the Real Scandal threads...yet!

ALL of my usernames have now been suspended!
I've dropped them a line to ask what proof they have, and as soon as they respond I fully intend to stick it right in their face about how they've forced us out with their knob-jockery and how we're now much happier elsewhere.
I haven't felt this good about la Foro for a long, long time and I'm delighted so many people have joined.

My only worry is that they dont really give a toss if we leave because it means less work for them.

I don't think we want to antagonise them too much, though, Mezz. Given that the company involved in the outsourcing is the very same as that whose MD appeared on the foro to launch a rather spiteful and ill-judged ad hominem attack on Gio, and taking the moderation policy into account it strikes me that some attempt at petty retaliation might ensue (spurious claims that their copyright has been infringed, etc, etc) if they get told where they can insert their moderation style.
What'd worry them more, I suggest, is if the foro just quietly dies as fewer and fewer people use it. Rather than raging against the dying of the light, simply leaving the last person there to turn it off might be a better strategy - let them go to the trouble of digging out spurious past misdemeanours and then just don't reply at all....
Giancarlo - I suspect that they would be worried if all the regulars leave, since he foro will all but die. This would be very bad news for the outsourcing company, since C4 might start to wonder why one of the most popular and regularly used forums on that website has become a wasteland.

To avoid auto-pruning of the thread...
I suspect that we may be adding Luciano Pavarotti to the AMS roll of honour before too long. Apparently, his condition (he has pancreatic cancer) has worsened.

And Pavarotti isn't looking too clever at the moment.

I believe he was a Juventus supporter. Apparently they'll play Nessun Dorma before Israel v England. Nice idea.
