Ronaldo was a Somalian immigrant in England I believe.

The funniest line anyone said on him was something like "He's called Baggio10 on a Spanish football forum somewhere".

Bobo, I have nothing against Spain, I was merely praising the USA for their impressive performance, and laughing at a player where any dislike stems purely from his status as an overrated Real Madrid player.

Didn't he work in a Bank, or am I just imagining that?

Was Ronaldo actually Spanish?

He is English. He claimed to live in Spain once upon a time. I have my suspicions that he pops in from time to time...

In fact, he's not the only member to give (have given) the impression that they post from the heart of their clubs' base, but each to their own!

Ferri is Australian. Im rereading ALL his posts in an Aussie accent (with the addition of random references to marsupials)... and in the morning. Im making waffles!

I think he might've worked in a bank, you're right, and also was doing a degree in economics.

In any case, it'd be nice to have him back. He was, after all, the Diego Maradona, the Mozart, of the nonsequitur.

It was great listening to Boycott slagging off the players though !

I wasn't expecting miracles, just a half way decent performance - England look disjointed

not sure about everyone celebrating a draw though, the aussies hammered us properly and Strauss didnt have a clue.

Bopara needs to open and Bell needs to come in for Cook.

Monty did amazing to last 4 overs even though he will be dropped for next test.

Good bit of luck though.

They're not going to drop Cook after one match and a rare failure. Nor should they.

The good thing that came out of this was first hand proof that the Aussie bowling attack is fairly lacklustre. Johnson was far too erratic, and Hauritz was pretty pants until the 5th day. The bad thing is our batsmen still lack the balls to take responsibility when it matters.

Fair point, but it wont stop Monty from likely being dropped, which I think is a shame.

He'll be back. Lords isn't much of a spinner's wicket unless your name is Shane Warne.

Delighted! So disappointed at the decision to disqualify Cavenfish from yesterday though.
