Some info wanted. I'm off to Milan in a couple of weeks, flying into Malpensa. What's the best way to get from the airport to Milan?

bus about 5 euro from memory takes you from Malpensa to Central Station. Leaves every 15 or 30 minutes.

Would not care if Ibra was sold though as he does not give a hoot about anyone/ anything other than himself. |
Can't see the point in Moratti cashing in on Maicon & Ibra. Even if he gets 100m euro there's no guarantee he'll find players with the money that make as much impact as these two.
If he pockets the money what was the point in bringing Mourinho, he would have been better off paying Mancio if he wanted to play the kids. I reckon I listed 7 or 8 players that could be sold that wont hurt us as much as losing these two.
Say what you want about Ibra but the guy has played his part in delivering three scudetti, sure he may be arrogant but he hates losing. The guy has been involved in a squad that finished top in their domestic league for 7 years straight, even if two of them didn't count

West Ham have taken Jiminez on a seasons loan, with an option for permanent transfer http://www.independent.ie/breakin...z-on-loan-from-inter-1787056.html

Hi Curva,
I did this about 6 years ago and got the train from Malpensa which was only about 10 euros and was a luxurious 45 minute journey into Cadorna station, with about a 20 metre walk to the underground station.
Suppose it depends where you are staying in Milan whether bus or train is easier, but underground is excellent way of getting about the city very quickly. You should buy day (or two day) passes for the underground which are cheap at €3 (€5.50) and are valid for 24 hours (or 4 from when they are first stamped as you enter the station. If you get the tickets from a machine it is listed as a abbonamento giornaliero (bigiornalieri for 2 day).
I will stop rambling on now as I just wish it was me that was going. I love Milan. Love Italy. Make sure you go on the roof of the Duomo. Breathtaking detail. Buon vacanza. _________________ It's quieter than a church before the crowds arrive.

Didn't realise everyone at Juve played for free. ADP, Trez, Camo, Nedved I guess I must have been dreaming when they came out publicly complaining about not getting paid enough.
Milan players seem happy enough to take a pay cut and stay as well.
If we had as many players talking about leaving as Milan the Italian papers would be running headlines for years.
For all the talk about Inter's mercenaries I find it amazing that Milan and Juve have wage bills that are almost on par.

Diego Alberto Milito signed on the dotted line and is now an Inter player. Signed a 4 year deal with Acquafresca going to Genoa as part of the deal.

Cesar
Maicon Cordoba Samuel Santon
Zanetti Cambiasso Motta
Balotelli Ibrahimovic
Milito
That is a good team. What is better is the bench is really strong. Having players like Stankovic, Muntari, Maxwell and hopefully Deco and Carvalho on the bench is fantastic. _________________ http://bringtheparty.blogspot.com/

| Might be good enough for Serie A, but if you're looking to break into the last 4 of the Champions League, I think you need to be asking if a Cordoba / Samuel pairing is good enough; also there's not a whole lot of creativity coming from the midfield 3. Solid, yes - but creative, maybe not.

TBH I agree but this is the way Mourinho insists on playing. And we arent in the market for any wide players. I think the assumption is that width isnt necessary to win the CL. And to an extent that's been borne out by Barcelona's victory this year. Barca had no more width than that provided by Maicon and Santon and Balotelli/Ibra pulling out wide. In Ibra and Balotelli we have players who can truly change a game with something spectacular out of nothing. What Barca did have though is creativity in the midfield in Xavi and Iniesta. That's why Deco would be an excellent signing. I think he could find his best self in a warmer country under a manager with whom he has won much and has an excellent relationship. He is creative.
How creative is Motta?
I feel like Zanetti is good getting forward. Either Motta or Zanetti replaced by Deco or another more creative midfielder and I think we're set. Im not a fan of Stankovic technically. He gives his all though and works hard. Id keep him for the same reason as Matrix.
Tbh it's not even necessary if we play well as a unit.
Cesar isnt bettered by anyone in Europe. Nor is Maicon. Nor Cambiasso. Nor Ibra. We have 4 players who cannot be bettered by anyone in Europe at what they do.
It's vital Maicon stays fit though. His width is indispensible.
And Cordoba and Samuel are good enough. Cordoba especially is class. Whoever partners Cordoba needs to not be Rivas or Burdisso (who I love but is short) and have some experience, which is why Carvalho would be a great signing. Last season we couldnt play 3 games in a row with the same CBs. _________________ http://bringtheparty.blogspot.com/

Not hugely. Nice left foot to link up play in deep positions, but not really creative in final third; similar to Cambiasso.

I think Inter fans are the only ones who rate Cordoba that highly.

quite saddened to see Cruz and Crespo's names disappear from the squad list on Inters site. A little concerned that Suazo is still on there. Think he and Obbinna could be sold to get someone else in there. Personally I would have kept el jardienero.
Would like to see Vieira and Quaresmo disappear from the midfield list also.
Good to see the Matrix staying until 2012. he seems happy enough as a squad player which is an important role. _________________ It's quieter than a church before the crowds arrive.
