Mark Bright.  2 games in 2 days of this moron and I've had enough.  It's as if he's trying to be worse than Mark Lawrenson, which would take some doing.

David Pleat has his critics for his slightly senile nature and poor pronunciation, but he's miles ahead of those 2 muppets.

With you 100 percent on that. They make England's brass band tolerable.

I think I'd rather listen to those horns than Mark Bright, but only just.  Whoever's idea it was to hand them out needs shooting.

I remember I first heard them at the Russia vs Ireland game in 2003...they've been a nuisance ever since,I had to change the channel a few times watching the game just to get a break from the constant blowing..how are the real fans chants supposed to be heard?please FIFA sort this sh*t out

Couldn't agree more, finding it hard to actually watch an entire game because of this. If it happens again at the World Cup, it'll be disaster.

Slightly off topic, but watching the Lions matches that are being played in stadiums to be used for the World Cup next year, the pitches look really poor - haven't seen any of the Confederations Cup yet, what are the pitches like in those games?

Also, the cheerleaders for some of the South African rugby teams have nice hooters!!  Hat, coat, door

I went to watch Barca earlier this year, and these damn things did my head in the whole night.

I've given up entirely on the Confed Cup because of the klaxons. They are bloody awful.

By the way am I right in thinking that Venezia got relegated to Serie C2 this season? That could be bad and upsetting.

Don't worry, it's not over, not over, not over, yet.

saw it up to the Egypt goal, where were the defenders on the line ?
Posted missing i would say.

And what is with Italy wearing Napoli coloured shirts ?
Not right. Should return to their previous azure.
I expected to see Diego and Zola in those shirts.

They seem fine to me. Good enough for Gilberto Silva to stroll about the park like a midfield maestro yesterday, though the USA should take most of the blame for that.

Talking of teeth, I got randomly attacked in a club on Sat morning, got the usual purple eye and cut nose (not broken). Also managed to chip front tooth at top and bottom.
Going to police today to make a statement because apparently I can claim something for the dental work.  About time I got something back for all the tax I've paid.
