It is none my business, and such a relief to be able to talk b......s and not having to change ID every day, however Myles if you make any money, assuming you don't want any, why not give to charity.
If, as usual, I understood nothing I apologise.

Good idea.
I doubt we'll be making any money though.

It's easy to sit back with only ever having one boss to answer to, that's not the case in every job, so we aren't all as lucky, Dave, so take it easy!
That was a bit out of line so sorry about that.

Now, if he wants the C4 forum moderated with a degree of common sense, I suspect that several mods and admins here would happily maintain foro law and order in an appropriate style and for a small consideration....
Beats having to break-away un-necessarily. i'll suggest it to John actually, good idea.
Actually, this wouldn't really work since it's C4 who contract out the moderatoring and not JDT who has the say, i assume.

No need to apologise, no offence taken.
I may have misunderstood. My impression was that C4 had contracted out the running of the C4FI site lock, stock and moderation to JDT Productions, and that it was the latter which dealt with the day-to-day running of the board.
However, I'd not properly considered the possibility that JDT may have been stitched into a scenario where other C4 moderators could dip into the C4FI board and start waving the banning stick around in a random and unhelpful fashion - which could explain a lot.

C4 run the forum, Steve Wilson emailed saying they have nothing to do with the moderating of the C4 forum.

Steve Wilson has emailed saying he has passed on an email from myself stating that the web team may post links to the C4FI website, on this forum.

Myles, thanks for clearing that up. Since I've done JDT a disservice with my earlier observations, it's only fair that I apologise for the criticism I levelled towards him when it should've been C4 who recieved the full force of my ire for the grossly puritanical, petty, inconsistent, immature, egomaniacally overbearing, self-regardingly dictatorial fashion drawn from the highest traditions of onanism with which they've set about wrecking the C4FI forum.

You always were a bit of a loose cannon, Dave.
We forgive you though.

But think of the fun you could have editing his posts, Mezz....
Myles, hope you won't object, but as a result of a chat with someone this afternoon about his website, I've made a couple of small alterations to the Kids and Parents thread and the 'do's and 'don'ts' - namely spammers are invited to go forth and multiply in the hope that their children have small penises (particularly the girls), and parents thinking that someone wishes to go forth and illegally multiply with their underage child are asked to let the mods know immediately so we can ban the would-be Gary Glitter imitator.
Just to protect your back, but if you want to revert to the original, I shan't stomp off in a huff (would've e-mailed you beforehand to ask, but my ****** mail server appears to have gone on strike in sympathy with the postal workers at the moment and bounced the message back.)
