| I'm in Milan right now ready to go to the first game of the season. And I'm a little nervous, to tell the truth. We have everything to lose this year. As usual people will be ready to crucify us but now even more so. All I want today is a decent win to start us off. Please. |

| View from somewhere in Secondo Rosso (couldn't be bothered to find my new seat so sat with Inter Bhoy): couldn't understand what I was seeing. So many players looked as if they had no energy at all :-( . I know we were down to ten men for a good length of time but even before that there was not a lot of movement up front. And in the second half the midfield went totally missing. You had Suazo or Ibra surrounded by three or four Udinese players and no-one coming to help them. Everyone sick or something? |

| Inter seemed really lethargic at times and it was lucky for them that Udinese were so woeful going forward |

Greetings Interisti . . . I feel like a breath of fresh air has been breathed into following calcio. A new forum (well overdue) and fairly extensive Channel 5 coverage for the season. I wish C5 the best of luck. They stand alone in the fact that their calcio coverage is the only "free to air" terrestial live football coverage in Europe. Rare in these days.  |

I thought the first half performance was quite decent. Zlatan was in fine form and Mancini has found his best position. I thought Figo was poor. (Was it just me who thought he suddenly looked very old).
Udinese certainly derserved a point. |

On to the game yesterday.
Started off well but looks like the heat got the best of us.
Couple of points
We are lacking a creative midfielder and have been doing since JSV went.Lets hope this Pele bloke we are about (?) to sign can do a job.Mesself I though a bit more of a keen pursuit of Deco might have landed the player
Why was Cambiasso not playing ?
Why start with Cruz before Crespo ?
And BnB ...what was the crowd ?Looked and sounded very tame |

| Personally I want to see more of Suazo. I think he needs to start to be msot effective rather than say Cruz, who can come on as a sub and more often than not will create something. Our central midfield was lacking that game with no Vieria or Comb over. |

Who for Zeds; Adriano, Inter or West Ham? Personally can't see Adriano "coping" in UK with either the climate or the culture. Mind you a diet of eels and mash might see him lose some needed poundage! |

I think the Sudamericani are a little short of fitness because they played the Copa America and had a delayed holiday. Hopefully that will change in the next couple of weeks. As for the crowd, it wasn't that bad considering it's August and most of Italy is shut and either at the seaside or in the mountains. I reckon over 50,000 and the Curva was in good voice. Don't know a thing about the new 'Pele'. I tried to Youtube him but nothing appeared. Does he exist?  |

So why exactly did we field a "fairly" strong team tonight and get thrashed 5 - 0 in Barcellona when we have a game on Sunday? We haven't bought anyone from Barca so it can't be a transfer thiing. Anyone got any ideas? Proper morale booster that one  |

I reckon only Burdisso, Cambiasso and Crespo could be counted as first team players last night. And I reckon the only reason they played was to get them more match fitness. Considering all the palaver about Beckham having to cross the Atlantic to play internationals, many European teams have been having the same situation for years. What's the difference ? |
