Just the f and the c words are sensored. Dont' really see the point in sensoring out anything else, but it depends on peoples' perception i suspose.

The admins on this site can't really spend all their time going through everthing, so it's up to other members to report it, if someone comes on attacking anyone.

I wouldn't be in favour of banning people for cursing though, that's just my opinion though, but if we started doing that we might aswel go back to the C4 forum.

Well it's nice to finally have an understanding of what the hell has been going on with the old foro. I've been struggling to get on the old foro for months now, it never loads or if i'm lucky i get to post one message before it crashes.
I put it down to loads of numpties discussing the (non-existant) finer points of a posh spice clone and Kieran Richardson's mental cousin and overloading the system.
Hearing everyone else's stories about suspensions for daft reasons has me wondering if I got suspended, seeing as i couldn't use the forum. Any emails they sent me would have gone to a now defunct address.
I guess I'll never know

I haven't been able to get on the forum much since BB started either. Most of the time I couldn't even read the threads let alone post. BB is a bunch of toss. I do enjoy the piss take on the Friday Night Project though.

Gio, just to add to Myles' thoughts, may I suggest using the 'Radio 4 Rule'. If it has been used on the 6.30 comedy slot (BTW, not by you shouting obscenities at the Now Show) then there is no reason why we should be more puritanical than the guardian of respectibility that is R4.

'Cock' has been made acceptable by James May's frequent use of it on Top Gear, even if it hasn't appeared on R4 yet.

While 'W@nk' hasn't yet made it onto R4, it is allowable since 'w@nkers' appeared on Countdown several years ago and C4 chose to show it (both contestants produced the word, prompting an uncomfortable looking Richard Whitely to make it worse/funnier by being unable to avoid saying 'Ah-ha, a pair of w@nkers!')

I'll still stick in asterisks to prevent falling into the trap of getting used to writing words in full and then doing so on another forum I post on and getting banned for it, but I see no reason why those not wishing to write out in full shouldn't.
