I've updated the title of this thread because I don't think we have a general place to chat shit about various calcio things that probably don't belong in an individual club thread.

This will no doubt become rather active when any of us have the misfortune to watch Sky / ITV European coverage involving any Italian team and we all hear the first "Well, what do you expect from the Italians?" comment.

Carry on...

Why are all the games kicking off tonight, bar Juve?

I know there were going to be changes made but is this going to be regular that the majority are 7:45?

Leaves me with little else but games like Bolton v Birmingham to watch...........

I thought they did this last season too, at least for the first few games. It is understandable given how hot it can be in Italy at this time of year...

I like the look of the Cesena stadium. Fans right close to the pitch and a brilliantly atmosphere.

Wow! All that talk of Milan challenging for everything is out the window now huh? Not that they won't, but people jump to so many conclusions after one game.

Enjoyed the Roma result too. And there's me thinking we don't have drubbings like the EPL because the teams are more even, har har!

I guess today is Juve's beating? Maybe not, because it's not wholey unexpected.
