According to the newspaper reports Cavani won't be available against Inter.

You never know though, maybe he'll make the bench.

Was pointed to this from someone on twitter http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/542847/Preview

Basically, Ranieri has never beaten Mazzarri in 8 attempts. Doesn't surprise me to be honest.

Never had a doubt, but thanks for beating the cheaters anyway. How ironic that they were complaining to the ref, it must be difficult for them to win any game now that the refs aren't instructed to make sure the cheaters win anymore.

Atleast Inter had a point in complaining, as it was a poor decision on the penalty.  I've seen games where Inter players have spent the whole game having a go at the referee even when decisions have been clearly correct.

Napoli are doing very well.  Part of me thought they'd not do so well this year after the deflation of falling short of the title this year.  I even think Mazzari was thinking that as he was linked to a move away in the summer.

They're a rarity in Italian football, a well run club with a plan that's making constant improvements.

I really think PCannavaro deserves a call up to La Nazionale!  How many Italian CB's are better than him right now?

Well done Napoli.  They were bankrupt and in Serie C 7 years ago, and they've made a profit for the last 4 years.  They've just beaten a team that has made a £197m loss in their last financial year.

It's good for football this result.  Let's hope Napoli can complete the job against Villarreal.

And Dzeko cost more than Lavezzi, Hamsik and Cavani (plus a couple of others) combined.

Has anyone come across any stats on that or team value, wages etc? I missed the game on TV unfortunately.

missed the game, but glad to see Napoli put a whuppin' on the all superior English teams.

And, and Italian even scored for City!

It was a crazy night in Naples and a thoroughly deserved win as well.

Absolutely fantastic to see Napoli through to the knockout round.

All the better seeing it was at City's expense!

No one is going to want to face Napoli from that pool either, in terms of scare factor they're probably only marginally behind Milan.

Over two legs, I'd fancy their chances against half of the group winners too. Then if they get a Barca or Real so be it, the San Paulo will truly be back in its glory days and they can be proud and pretty happy with their achievements in Europe this season.

Why on earth do Napoli's sponsor Lete have that red box around its logo? I don't see it anywhere else. Not on the Lete bottles, not in the website. In fact, on Lete's website the logo appears on a sky blue background! What the F!?

best of luck against the Chelski.

I'm assuming that they decided to use the red box in order to make the white font stand out a bit more as it could blend with the light Azzurri shirt, particularly from a distance and/or under floodlights.

The label on the actual Lete bottle is predominantly red too (although it looks a bit pink in the image below), so I guess it was a logical colour to use.

The red box on the shirt still doesn't look right to me though, I must admit...
