Well, now that Champions League qualification has been achieved, and I'm assuming that we will do better than we did 4 years ago when we were last in this postion - struggling against Djurgardens to progress to the group stage - the board should conclude quickly  the three signings needed to take us forward next season. Not included are Mellberg and Giovinco who are promised or already signed.

Assuming Tiago and Marchionni are leaving and that Almiron may not come back there is scope for Ranieri to be spending around €40m.

If Iaquinta is not part of the grand design for 08/09, perhaps to be offset in a transfer swap, then it's possible 4 may arrive.

Key to everything is strengthening the defence. If Georgio is happier in the middle than playing full back the biggest spend should go towards acquiring a world class left back. It should be the 1st objective in the market.

In attack lets fix the Amauri deal, exchange Iaquinta for Mancini, Palladino* and cash for Hamsik and start to look forward to a season of unabated success.

* Much as i think that Palla is going to be a very good player in the future, events over the last 2 months have led me to believe that he has no future at the club. Sadly.

Fratello the best buy this season was Alex Del Piero. He is gone back 10 years. Perhaps Agricola had something to do with it.

I tell you Drughi Aguero may want to play in C. League and Juventus have dealt with Atletico Madrid before as for Vieri. I am glad we did not get Flamini we already have Sissoko in that role. We need a playmaker.

Nike's initial concepts for next season's away kit.  Not bad but they need to burn the flippin red one!

I think that signing Mancini in exchange for Iaquinta would be an excellent deal especially if we do end up signing Amauri

Giovinco, De Ceglie, Lanzafame, Criscito and Marchisio are returning to stay. Ranieri says in today's interview that Juventus are counting on these youngsters for the future from next season.
About Giovinco though he is small he is strong,

Good news about Amauri Luft, things are looking up, after all AC Milan signed Flamini.

Amauri demands 3.75m per season and Juventus will not goo over 3m, with a bit of luck he will go somewhere else.

Secco is trying to get Sagnol, remember him?, from Bayern on a free. What else?  Another young promise!

If you ask me, our first and most critical transfer target, apart from a replacement for Nedved, will be a solid goalkeeper. We can then worry about all of the other positions, We can not go to the Cl with Belardi. He is ecent but at best a third goal keeper in a team like Juve

Or, in the nicest possible way, a reason to mock Juve when they disappear after the group stage?

Out of all four, I probably prefer the gold top. The black one is too similar to the home shirt and I wouldn't classify red as a Juve colour.

1-0 Loss to Siena?

Why is it I'm more confident of beating the bigger sides than the sides we should be brushing aside? I realise we've nothing much to play for but surely more effort should be put in, apparently we never really threatened much.

I have not seen him play this year. He has great potential or so I recall when I saw him play. I think we should take our risk as he has a number of Buffon's charcertistics.

Hiya all's going well thanks, yourself?

Not able to get on here as much as I'd like, seems a damn sight better than the old forum tho.

Hope everyone else is well, is there much bickering going on anymore (a la the old MLV/Ronaldo beef?)
