I understand your disappointment in the scoreline, but if the youtube highlights are anything to go by, then this seemed like a cracking game with lots of chances. A great advert for Serie A which is always a good thing.
Thought Giovinco looked good on the ball, gives a different dimension to the attack.
Good luck in the CL in midweek. _________________ It's quieter than a church before the crowds arrive.

Must disagree on Grosso, despite giving the ball away for the goal against Sampdoria he is pure class. So too Chiellini of course. The problem is no cover for Grosso if he's out.
Leggrotaglie should be partnering Gio until a real quality replacement arrives.
Right back is the new left back problem for me, Caceres is the best of a bad bunch but is still not good enough. Grygera and Zebina are average.
January needs to bring a new central defender and right back, I can't see how signing anyone else would improve the side despite it being woeful at times. _________________ "melo-momo and the crazy little trio behind amauri are amazing" - Gurjio 28-10-09

We could have re-signed young Stephen Appiah
Agree on Grosso - he has added a new dimension to the left, he can cross, shoot and get back to cover when required. He didn't have a great game against Napoli, but none of our defenders did.
Sad to think that we are pinning our hopes on Del boy and Momo
I think Caceres should be given a fair chance - one start where he promptly scored a brilliant goal and a few cameo appearances here and there are not enough too judge him.
We seem to jump between brilliance and madness - which team will we see in Israel ? _________________ www.juvefc.com - Vote for your Juve XI

What exactly is wrong with Del Piero? Whenever he goes missing you never really get any specifics about the injury he's carrying. Without a diagnosis then you don't know how long he's expected to be out for.
Speaking at my local coffee shop which has a few ex-pat Italians (and unfortunately a few Gobbi too) general consensus is the guy can't run without the aid of substances so he sits out waiting for test results to come back clear.

Does not make much sense...he played most of last season and seemed to be running really well for someone who takes substances and risks being caught after every single game. What I agree with is that radio silence is no good thing.

Cannavaro has been caught out with the crosses in the last two games, the forward always wins the header, i thought Sampdoria was a one off but it's worrying that it's two games in a row now.
Melo only seems to foul the ball and never actually win it back, he fouls well up the field so it's not so noticeable but it's of no use to the team.
Poulsen has actually improved a bit over the last few games considering he's starting to pass the ball forward now instead of always backwards.
I wouldn't blame Ciro for the Napoli game, though the Amauri for Poulsen substitution was a bit nieve, sometimes you have to accept a draw when the other team has the momentum. The players need to have a good look at themselves, to go 2-0 up at home and loose 3-2 is not acceptable in Serie C2.

I think Myles is right when he says Marchisio is our best midfielder. It's a matter of who plays with him in my opinion.
Also right about Poulsen. He had a good game before being taken off. Kept it simple throughout and put in one sterling tackle on our right side when Napoli were on a break. _________________ A.D.P = G.O.D

I hadn't noticed. Well done to me.
Re Del Piero. Fitness wise he's been fine the last 2 seasons and has nearly always been available. This season though he seems to have had numerous different injuries. The latest one was muscular from what I heard, and he had a back problem in pre-season, although he's available again now. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

well the stream has gone for me, Buffon just made an amazing safe. Ball was behind him and he was on the floor and some how managed to hook an arm back to wack the ball forward.
Tiago on the wing????????? it's a disaster, what are you doing Ferrara?

Where's Giovinco? If injured I suppose Tiago is there as there's no one else. I'd have gone with De Ceglie myself though if Giovinco is unavailable. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

Going well so far. If things stay like this Bayern will have to come to the Olimpico and win, if they're not out by then. _________________ Forza Juve!!!
