Pozzo will not part with D'Agostino and Juventus are meeting Fiorentina today for Melo, if they accept Marchionni not just in co ownership Melo might be a Gobbo.

Otherwise flog Poulsen see what Tiago does with Ferrara and move on.

can I just ask, when did everyone (in the press) suddenly think Melo was the best midfielder ever?

he is good and young and will improve most teams, but good grief hes a filthbag tackler who will incur a lot of cards.

Hes good, not great.

I really feel For D'ago, it's evident the player wants to join us but pozzo is being totally uncompromising re his fee & does not seem to want to even meet us half way, out of curiousity, how much did Udi pay for his services, anyone know?

PS: at least Secco is not being a bum bandit for a change but alot of the signings & potential aqisitions are to do with Ciro i'm sure

I dont think not signing D'Ago is a blow. He had one good season, for all we know he could be the next Almiron and the price they want for him is a joke.

Best for Marchionni that he moves on.  Hasn't worked at Juve, partly because of injury problems.

Only surprised we didn't surrender the whole 100%.

That said, I wish him well at the Viola.

John Elkann: «The transfer market is not over for us»

«Felipe Melo? The transfer market is not over for us. We must make sure to operate well». This is how John Elkann answered to the question on whether Brazilian Felipe Melo will be wearing the Juventus jersey next season. «We want to strengthen the aquad for next season. There are many negotiations which are still on », explained Elkann at the end of the assembly of Turin industrialists.

Playing for Juventus, no Poulsen, Tiago, Nedved, Zanetti 32 always crocked, 70 games in a season Duncan.

Zebina will have a greay season with Ferrara.

Brilliant news - It seems to be all over the Italian papers this morning, just waiting to confirm the whole deal.

Our contingent of French players seems to have dwindled over the years, VIVA BRAZIL !

Momo    Melo    Marchisio

Awesome news! Now that is some midfield!

All that remains now is for Groso to arrive at LB and for the sale of Tiago to provide the necessary cash to get Lichtsteiner from Lazio for RB.

A perfect transfer window all but done.

im confused?

D'agostino has only had one good season, but they refused to pay 20m for him

Melo has only had 1 good season yet they were quite happy to pay 20m

I think this one has got everyone confused bud !

Perhaps the growing Brazilian contingent had some say in matters ?

Not that I care though - I think the general response to the D'Agostino deal was a collective 'What......???'

Melo is a quality player, despite his temper. Perhaps the best part is that we have not settled for second best this time round - we have signed two incredible talents before any other clubs got a look in.

Now, time to ship off Poulsen and his mussus to Turkey, tell David to stop sulking and get the RB/LB positions sorted.

Can't wait to see the boys in action against Cisco Roma - then there's the peace cup !
