in what way is he not worth that much?
Relatively young? check
Cultured player with great passing, vision. technique? check
able to perform defensively and get stuck in? check
He is one of the best players in his position in the world and would be an asset to any side.
I would happily pay that for xabi, not for D'agostino.
also, what has De Rossi done thats in any way better than Xabi?

He's worth the money but we have fooked up our chances of getting him already. We can't really outbid Real at the moment.
There's an interesting peice about on CM today:

Tuttosport are reporting Fenerbahce are going to make one last attempt to sign Poulsen.

Cobbolli today stated that Juventus will act quickly to secure the quality needed. However Xabi Alonso is NOT an option, Juventus are not interested in signing him.

Gutjio I would like to see, like many Gobbi in Turin, what Ferrara can achieve with Tiago and Poulsen properly 'employed' and 'trained'.
Ekdal out on LOAN to Siena or Bari.

Good point,
We are obviously going to have an industrious midfield behind Diego consisting of Momo and Marchisio and one other. I see no harm in giving Tiago and Poulsen another crack at playing under Ferraras system and competing for that final spot.
We need a good full back along with a trez replacement if hes going.
It looks like, Ciro doesnt want either of those 2 guys though which is why we are still going for D'ago.

What's to see of Tiago and Poulson? They suck some more?

I agree with you Duncan. I'd like to be proved wrong but if Ranieri could do nothing with Poulsen when he asked for him after they shared time together previously then what will he do now?
Good to see Udinese have set a more realistic price for D'Ago at around £14m. Can we shift some "talent" to raise the dough? _________________ nino

Plus Tiago has been at the club long enough to have broken onto the first team by now, and since he hasn't done that he's obviously not good enough at this level.

Tiago may do better in a different midfield formation. It's probably still best he leaves though.
Poulsen isn't good enough. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

Would you just get D'Ago already? I usually don't want to see Juve strengthen, but the World Cup is next year and my love for the Azzurri trumps all. he needs to be in a CL team playing with Buffon, Canna, Chiellini, Marchisio, Iaquinta, Gio, etc... to help get Italy ready to defend the title

Felipe Melo, as Prandelli wants Marchionni, looks like the alternative. 25m would be the asking price but Marchionni would reduce the cost.
Ferrara says that we will see a lot more of De Ceglie this season.

Sky Sport Italia claims only an agreed fee stands between Melo & Juve. _________________ nino

Presumably he'd reduce the cost to about £24,999,995.
Apparently Secco is getting nearer to Udinese's valuation of D'Agostino. I just want this one sorted. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

Just come back from two weeks away on Formentera.
Had to rely on La Gazetta dello Sport for information
Seems that we are still a long way from getting D'Agostino with Liverpool, Milan and Chelsea now reportedly interested.
I don't seem to hear much about us signing a full back. Am I missing something? _________________ For sale: Set of second-hand Dachshund stabilizers, a child's Paul Simon costume, a set of windmill Top Trumps, £45 in used fivers, a 'Diana Convoy' Scalextric set and a set of nested bunk beds that sleeps eighteen progressively smaller people.

In the past, I followed debates on one or more players but elected not to express a point of view for the simple reason that I do not feel I have enough facts to have an opinion. My question to you this time is: Is D'Agostino that great of a player? I saw him in a couple of games with Udinese and he was good but I do not recall thinking after the match that he is a Di Rossi or even Acquillani....
In any case, with or without him, one of Tiago and Poulsen at least will be gone....the midfield will consist of Momo, Marchisio and the new guy with backing from Zanetti and one of the above. Knowing Ferara it may well be Tiago over Poulsen. I personally can not stand seeing him in a Juve jersey again....but oh well, if Zebina is saying this year will be his eyar, what's stopping Tiago from saying the same thing.
