This apparently will secure Grosso, D'agostino, and Rossi. |
If that's the case then brilliant news all round. No mention of Tiago in that list which is a pain - apparently he features in our plans next season |
Would be a shame to lose De Ceglie, I've wanted Grosso for a while but not at the expense of losing De Ceglie altogether.
Rossi would be a great buy, him and Amauri could form a very good partnership with Diego playing behind. _________________ "melo-momo and the crazy little trio behind amauri are amazing" - Gurjio 28-10-09

Well, maybe it has to do with Bari selling Stefano Guberti to Roma. I guess Conte did not want any players to leave or something of the sort.

Its actually very good news about De Ceglie's calf injury.
We should now push very hard to get Grosso sooner rather than later, plus Napoli and Udinese will most likely look elsewhere for a LB.
I actually think De Cheggers was the only player of our new triade that Secco would have sold so its good that hes down and out while the transfer market opens.

I want to agree, but I feel it's probably just going to delay the inevitable. Grosso will come in without any back up until Molinaro and De Ceglie are available and then one of which, if not both will move on.
Secco you could argue is getting better (finally Diego, possibly Grosso and D'Agostino), but he's still got a loooooooong way to go. _________________ "melo-momo and the crazy little trio behind amauri are amazing" - Gurjio 28-10-09

As I said before, I'd like Criscito back, but I'm not sure Secco does. I don't want more old signings like Grosso. Yes he's good, but he won't be around for long, whereas De Ceglie and Criscito are young and can only get better. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

Liam i completely agree with your point, but do you think someone somewhere said that about Molinaro?

Yeah but De Ceglie and Criscito are already better than Molinaro, so we should bring back Criscito and when all are fit Molinaro should be the last in the pecking order. De Ceglie and Criscito are as good a bet as Grosso, except younger.

yep mimmo has been very good in the u21s thus far.
And De Ceglie and Giovinco have been players of the tournament so far for me, Seba for his assists and De Ceglie for his engine and dynamism.

Criscito is gone to Genoa for 6.5m
For De Ceglie it looks like starting line up next season. And with Marchisio a move to Lippi's side.

Apparently we might be making a cheeky offer for Lecce's Andrea Esposito....
am I going insane or was he one of our youth products a few years ago?

I don't think so Gurj. We have 'Simone Esposito' :

Sounds like the Grosso deal is more or less done but Camoranesi will not form part of it.

Presumably that is 6.5m for our share? Meaning we've let another one go.
Marchisio and Giovinco are needed and good enough for South Africa, they'll hopefully prove that this season with Juve.
Glad Camoranesi hasn't left to get Grosso, he can still do a job as back up.
Glad to hear Giovinco has again stated his desire to 'conquer' Juventus, it will be criminal to underuse him again this year when it's so blatantly obvious to all that he has so much quality. _________________ "melo-momo and the crazy little trio behind amauri are amazing" - Gurjio 28-10-09

Criscito was only on loan at Genoa. They've apparently bought half of him. We still have 50%. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

FI are reporting we are close to selling 50% of Marchionni to Fiorentina for £2.5mill and Palladino is staying at Genoa for another year.
I would have preferred Marchionni to have moved away on a permanent deal. Palladino wouldn't get a look in at Juve at the moment

Maybe we can't get any club stupid enough to buy Marchionni outright, given that if the reports are accurate that we will sell half of him then obviously we see no future for him at the club, otherwise why would we sell half of him in the first place.

£2.5m for half of Marchionni is good business. _________________ Forza Juve!!!
