Couldn't agree more with that post, Dylan. There is stupid money being asked for players these days.
With Ciro, we should hopefully be bringing in more of our youngsters to get the right blend.
With all these figures being thrown around, what is the point of De Ceglie going to Napoli for co-ownership ? These kind of deals hardly ever work out in our best interests.
Dossena seems to be happy to stay at Liverpool for the time being:

I'll be happy if Dossena doesn't arrive and we go for Grosso to fill the void, if De Ceglie is sent to Napoli I would hope he will come back with a 30+ game season under his belt and can be the player we want him to be. Grosso would be a good and fairly cheap option for a season though.
Don't think I want to see Diarra come in, especially not for stupid money. _________________ "melo-momo and the crazy little trio behind amauri are amazing" - Gurjio 28-10-09

The olnly reason prices are so high is they know there are idiots like madrid, chelsea and man city who will pay it
it used to be clubs would put a stupid figure to price the players out the market, now you have clubs that will actually go 'alright then, deal' to such ludicrous figures
spain and england only want to sell to each other cos they know they can get top dollar, italy is seen as a financially weaker league.
Although we can balance our books which is more than chelski and manU that are a few billion in debt... ;)

Lanzafame had great potential, but he didn't break into the Palermo first XI so hopefully he figures better for Udinese as they tend to give more playing time to youngsters.

Mellberg's apparently agreed to join Olympiakos. A sign that Ariaudo will get more playing time. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

I was impressed with Ariaudo anytime he played, didn't make any stupid mistakes anyway. I reckon he's better than Leggrottaglie and should be third choice center-half.

At least we made some profit for him. As for Ariaudo, with Cannavaro and Ferrara at the club how can the boy go wrong? _________________ nino

Ariaudo = Claudio Gentile.
Yes D'Agostino should be a Gobbino next week good we are keeping Lanzafame's half. D'Agostino really wants Juventus wich is a good sign.

Apparently Vialli think Giovinco is the key to landing D'Ago. I'm surprised he's talking this way like he thinks D'Ago is more important for us to get. _________________ nino

I sincerely hope so as they seem insistant on our 2 jewels Seba & Caludio who we must keep at all costs. _________________ In Juve we trust!

D'ago isnt worth anything close to what pozzo is asking for.
We simply cannot allow any of the main 3 young'uns to leave simple as.
I will march on Turin and fecking snap Secco's neck if he even contemplates it.

Yeah, when I heard about D'Agostino (who frankly I didn't even knew before the transfer rumors), I was expecting Juve to pay 10 million euros at the most.
The thing is, With Real Madrid and the other big clubs willing to pay silly money this summer, Udinese thinks we do that too.

La Stampa reports that we will sell Marchionni, Poulsen, Almoron, De Ceglie, Trez, Mellberg (gone already), and sell the remainders of a lot of our co-owned players to release £40m for the summer window.
This apparently will secure Grosso, D'agostino, and Rossi.

If that's the case then brilliant news all round. No mention of Tiago in that list which is a pain - apparently he features in our plans next season
