From juves perspective we have time to get cover if we need it but thats so unlucky for Andrade im gutted for the bloke.

Oh dear, he's not very lucky is he? Out for the season before it even begins after coming back from an injury that put him out for most of last season. Andrade will be a forgotten player it seems. Will we be replacing him or is Mellberg seen as enough?

Kompany was a big up-and-comer a few years back, but I think he's went off the boil a bit at Hamburg.

Both he and Vanden Borre were the most exciting players Anderlecht had a while ago, and we've all seen how Vanden Borre's performed since he left Belgium...

I would not call the Andrade injury a disaster other than for him personally and professionally. We survived the entire season without him and we now have ore delth in defence. That said, this just opens many doors for quetionning yet again the vlaue that ALL of pur purchases last year have been a "write off". We simply played most of the season with our Serie B winning team enhanced by a couple of youngsters. Only Sissoko seemed to have made some difference but then again Zanetti has been class and I pray to god that we continue to play him as although he is a defensive midfielder, his assists are leathal. His performance against Inter in the return was one of the best defensive midfield performances I have ever seen.

Poulsen..ok, but then again, another defensive midfielder. If we are talking about Alonso again, then why spend the money on Poulsen. I seriously do not understand the thinking behind our transfer campaign. A 6 here and a 7 there and we literally have the sume of 40 million euros...enough to buy us two world calss players to supplement our existign team and the youngsters.

It looks like my theory about Merda Gigli, Secco and other clowns being filled with Moratti money is working.

Poulsen probably won't be a starter, but a OKish squad player. He was certainly a key player for Sevilla over the last couple of years, albeit a little nutty.

Yes he might be a good squad player but nobody's impressed at the amount of money we throw at him while admitting just over double that is too much for a high caliber player.

Remember a few seasons back, signing Ibrahimovic in a nick of time ? Any chance of a repeat ?! Doubt it with these clowns in charge - So the spending spree is over and we now have a squad fit for the CL and Serie A ? Andrade crocked for a whole season and the mighty Poulsen our own summer signing ? Where will the creativity come from or will it be long balls into the box with Trez and Iaquinta battling in the box ?

The worst of it is, we've been conned into thinking Xabi Alonso would be our saviour - they buy cack like Poulsen, say they're spending no more, splash the cash on Alonso and then expect us to be grateful ?
