Still losing finals.

I think Bayern's side of the mid 70's is more relevant than the 2001 vintage and despite my dislike of the club, Celtic's 1967 team should be included on the basis the team were all born within 30 miles of Glasgow.

Agree about the inclusion of the '67 Celtic team, though I was always led to believe that they all lived closer than 30 miles. Feel that the Juve side (especially '96-97) of the late 1990s should have been included - as Fergie said during the interview before the game: I honestly can't see Juventus losing tonight. Sadly, Dortmund beat them.

3-1 actually.  Not that it makes much difference, although it was a fantastic goal from Del Piero.

...and an even better goal scored by Lars Ricken!

Red Star Belgrade 1991? Eh?  How about Cowdenbeath 1973?  And who the ------- hell are Santo?  No early 70s Ajax, or mid-70s Bayern...I've seen sum bum polls in my time, but this one would get my vote (all 5 of them actually) for the worst ever!

That'll be Santos.

Thanks to the wonders of Wikipedia, I've just learned that Pele's Santos won the Copa Libatadores and the Campeonato Paulista in 1962 and the Libatadores again in 1963.

I think Mancio's record breaking Inter were the best said ever. They played with a flair and verve matched by none, other than Brazil's fair-play World Cup 2002 winning team.

If you're including the Marseille team of 1993, you'd better include the Juve team of 2004-2006, as both won titles under dubious circumstances.

hmm, whats the point of posting the poll if he doesnt come back to respond to it... I dont mean that in a bad way as all new members to the foro are welcome, but it would be nice to hear some input from the one who started the discussion...

Where are the Hispanola Hurricanes?

They even beat a team from Milan (called the Vipers or the Cobras or something).
