Romanista, I'll point you in the direction of the 1st rule.

Quote:
1. How to Play
  • 1 a. Post results in the thread Marcello Chicarella Championship – Week 1. Week 2, 3, etc.
  • 1 b. Use the letters H (home), A (Away) and D (Draw)
Do not use 1, 2 or X, and do not predict scores

Sorry - I forgot. I'll make a mental note for next time. Just wondering, though - why not use either H/D/A or 1/2/X? It's not posible to confuse them, is it?

I think it's easier for the markers all round if we only use the one style of predicting. It's been H/D/A since the off and it's worked fine, so there's no real need to change it.

Did I get 0 points because my predictions were crap or because I used 1-2-X?

Don't think our half have been marked yet, Roman.

Is it wrong I'm excited about seeing my scores and this championship in general?

Tuten K - you can't appeal as some people don't bother posting their predictions when they are late as they know they'll score '0' regardless, from previous years experience. Sorry about that.

Romanista - You can appeal by submitting at least one reason by;
  1. Posting your appeal in the Marcello Chicarella Championship thread.
  2. emailing your appeal to [email address removed]
  3. sending the appeal to myself by private message.

Your appeal is then discussed and voted on by myself, Liam and Juvefans and the outcome of the vote will be posted in the Marcello Chicarella Championship thread. The vote score or who vote what way will not be posted.
Proposed change to the rule can be submitted in the same way, however the rule will not be changed in retrospect and will not come into effect until next season, should the rule be in fact changed.

Thanks for the info. To be honest, this sounds like a game that takes itself a little too seriously for my taste. I'll bail out here, but have fun with your predictions, folks.

 for giving Romanista 0 for using 1 2 X

I'll appeal on his behalf, he should have the points because it's the same f**king thing as using H,A,D

Come on guys - you've got to give Romanista his points for this week. 3 points? Denying him his points is something the C4 mods would do!
