well unfortunately I am not making it to an Italian game this year, instead its the Madrid derby this weekend for me and mates.
Should be a feisty affair with both teams having lots to play for.
A high scoring draw would suit me as I am a Barca man at heart in Spain.

From the Olimpico and Marassi last weekend to Ebbsfleet's Stonebridge Rd this weekend.. Off to Reading away on Tuesday too.

Everything went as planned last week apart from Juventus's pre-match hotel. Wearing old trainers, scrappy jeans and without a shave for ages, I somehow managed to blag my way past Juve security into this 5* place where I settled down for a diet coke for a fiver plus God knows how many complimentary snacks they brought to me.

And who walks down 15 minutes later? Vincenzo Iaquinta, who sits on the table next to me. However, trying to keep a low profile I decide to leave it and wait for Buffon to come down. Time goes on, my diet coke slowly turns into an icey puddle then about 6:40 I hear these massive cheers from outside.. They used a different exit. Unbelievable. Worth a go though.

Next week I finally get to achieve my dream of seeing Charlton in Europe, playing a friendly at Irish megastars err, Bray Wanderers. Get to spend a coupla days in Dublin though so it ain't all bad.

^ That turned out as perfect as it could have done, considering I met Mark Kinsella at half time then ended up out drinking with the full squad in Dublin afterwards. Took a banner as well which got some respect

Since then I've done Hereford (slum), Orient (not tooo bad) and Norwich (ran out of pies) away, and am off to Colchester tonight then Leeds Saturday. Hopefully neither us nor Leeds will lose tonight (though I wouldn't complain too much if they did), so it'll be England's only two unbeaten teams going head to head at the weekend.
