Thinking about it, it doesn't sound like a Blatter idea. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

Getting the WC from Blatter, Canna should have given him the middle digit in return

Italy were extremely lucky not to get beat never mind win last night. Toni and Gilardino will never work as a partnership, atleast one of them needs to be cut loose from the squad (Toni).
Also theres got to better cover than Barzagli, hes shockingly bad.

Lippis just trying to integrate the team from the WC into this one, hes been totaly oblivious of the young talent that surrounds him, i mean there was nothing else he could of done about playing Barzagli but then i thought to my self that he could of playd 'Legs' whos alot better.
I bealive so far Lippis been a bit niave in his approach to the team but things should soon start to pick up....well i at least hope so.

Still not with the sheep who think re-appointing Lippi was a great idea.
Where is the young blood for 2 years from now? Enough of seeing Toni. Where is Cassano? Balotelli is too young? If you are good, you are good. Period

Well said Duncan re-appointing Lippi is like a step back not a step forward i can't stand the idea of him running our 2010 team, the guy has to many favorites for example the way he adores Barzagli when there quite clearly better defenders in Italy, and the way he detests certain players for instance Cassano,Panucci and Balotelli i just can't appreciate the guy when he does things like this.

The returns hardly ever work out well. Hope I am proven wrong and we win that 5th star!

It is obvious bringing back Lippi wasn't the best. There are coaches out there who can do the job as well.
And I can't understand why Cassano was left out, inspite of his performance in the Euros. What I know is, sooner or letter, upcoming players like Giovinco and Balotelli need to be brought into the NT whether the coach like it or not. Where Italy seem to have biggest problem is the attack. Toni has lost form drastically, while Gilardino is not someone you can rely on to deliver, least of all in the international scene. He just doesn't have it in him. So I think the coach would have to show a little more faith in Di Natale and Quagliatera (sp?).

It seems like a common theme from us posters that Lippi needs to bring in some youth. Look at the backline. Why aren't Santacroce and Lodi being brought in to be groomed along Canna? This is desperate. Earlier years Canna and Nesta were brought in to play with Costacurta, Bergomi, Ferrara to groom them for the future. This needs to be done if we want to win that 5th star

Its all about Mr Capello tonight.
Is this the night Theo becomes a man?
What happened to Joe?
Will The Sun now believe England are world class and WC favourites?

Sack Capello now.
England should not, repeat not, ever, ever look as thought they might have an idea what they're doing, let alone win 4-1 away from home.
In answer to your questions, Bobo:
1. Yes
2. He's got a headache
3. Sadly, they will.
