The Jacksons were from Gary, Indiana. Did you know them?

Don Rickles RIP. The people's comedian. He gave no f**ks.

My uncle taught a couple of them in the schools.   Can't remember which ones though.

Don Rickles was a legend.   Funny and took no prisoners.  Insulted everyone..lol

I'm watching Preacher at the moment. It's weird, funny and violent. Feels like Texas might be hell.

Homeland's latest series was the best for a while but the ending or at least the last ten minutes was a little disappointing tbh. I won't leave any spoilers.....but I was amazed to find out that the actor who plays Peter Quinn is British!

No spoilers but my Mother was rather distraught at a certain event.

Is Twin Peaks the life story of Dolly Parton?

I did but it was a bloody long time ago and I can't remember what happened.

I've been watching the second series of Daredevil and my official verdict so far is Meh.

I read about the series' , back in the day, it was the pre-sequel  to the X-files, if I remember, it seems like something would like.

I don't know if I would call Twin Peaks a prequel to The X-Files in the proper sense of the word. There are similarities stylistically for definite. I see the influence of TP on TXF regarding small town weirdness and the whole mystery angle. Twin Peaks is way weirder than The X-Files though. Some of it is real head-scratching, what the hell just happened telly. You should check it out if you get the chance. I would like to re-watch it.

Final verdict on Season 2 of Daredevil is that it felt like two entirely different stories going on. The Elektra stuff was boring and she was an annoying character. The Punisher was Ok but the show came alive when Wilson Fisk reappeared. He's absolutely monstrous but a fascinating character. I loathe him and want to watch more of him all at the same time.
They must do better if they want the numbers to support further series being made.

Yeah, prequel was a wrong choice of word. But I remember when the X-Files came out, I think that's how they promoted it, it was something like "Twlight Zone meets Twin Peaks". I might give it a go. I vaguely remember the Twlight Zone, I remember staying up and watching the late night repeats, that and Kojak.

Yeah, and the Twlight Zone but these were late night repeats, I should have been asleep but I'd be allowed to stay up and watch them.

We were allowed to stay up and watch Dallas but I don't think it was on that late.

Not for me.  I often wonder if that's been a contribution to my insomnia.
