Well, the competition has a health warning attached, if that's what you mean.

I don't really see a problem with acknowledging the deaths of famous people in this thread, consider it to be an obituary thread above all.

It is a bit vulgar for some palates, but we are all a bit sick anyway.

Damn - I knew that there was some unpleasant dictator who I ought to have included on my totodeath coupon, but forgot who it was:

If Beadle was a cheeky genius then so was Harvey Proctor.

I think it's going to be another hilarious Beadle prank - as the coffin is lowered he's going to leap out.

Oh how we'll laugh

Oh, there you all are!  I suppose it's too late for a 2008 death list?  Just passing by after leaving Domenica Sportiva in disgust over Inter's latest free gift.  Hope you're all well.  Forza Milan.

'We're gonna need a bigger boat.' One of the best movie lines ever.

Welcome Lilli! Nice to see you back in touch. Feel free to put up a list.

Farewell Roy Scheider! I didn't know you were ill. Otherwise...

Anyway he was a rather good actor. I couldn't be persuaded to wade into the sea for many years after watching Jaws.

I think a death list from Lilli would be in order - never too late to speculate upon those who may be 'late'...

Better run it by tournament procedure. I'll forward it to the secretary, who in turn will refer it to the committee stage. If we can get a majority then the board should sanction the move. If not, we can set up a special sub-committee to modify the terms of entry and come to a compromise. I'll get in touch with Malcolm Speed of the ICC as he likes chairing these things and he can rely on specialists in the committee field - the likes of Richard Scudamore, Ken Schofield and Dave Richards - to give us an overhyped report into the state of Totodeath and the committee's recommended changes to the tournament structure effective as of 2011. Somewhere in the report, Lilli will get an answer in the smallest possible print but we can't anticipate that this will be in the near future (12-18 months perhaps).
