Gutted about Patrick Swayze, only just found out. Very sad, love Dirty Dancing and Ghost. _________________ Sonia is wondering why she can't find a profile pic which is less than 63kb in her gallery?! The words gutted spring to mind!

Anyone watch that programme last night with Keith Allen and Keith Floyd? I was thinking he'd be a shoe-in for next year's coupon. He was most entertaining when he was on form. I was saying to Mother last night that the programme seemed to be an obituary - and it was as it turned out. Loved his programmes.

Can't say I enjoyed any of Swayze's films. However he faced his illness with a great deal of fortitude. And he is on my coupon (and I imagine many others').

This one's going to the wire. I'm not familiar with Patrick Swayze's work, but sad about Floyd. Not sure he was much of a cook, as his method seemed to consist merely of chucking things into a pot willy nilly, but he was highly entertaining.

It ain't what goes in, it's what comes out that matters. I couldn't believe that he went to the doc with the cancer and is told that his liver is ok ! _________________ My Jamaican missus trying to describe Amy Winehouse the other day: "What's the name of that coke head woman who went to St Lucia?"

Absolutely gutted about Floyd, I loved his shows and was fortunate enough to meet the man a few years ago and have a couple of drinks with him.
His autograph adorns my kitchen wall, providing me with all the inspiration I need to get absolutely trolleyed whilst creating my next culinary masterpiece.

Do you think it's too soon to ask Whoopi Goldberg if she's heard from Patrick Swayze yet?

Trying to work out whether any of the band song titles had some death-related connotations which could be worked into relevant posts on this thread, in one of the longest-standing traditions of the foro?

Tried that, no joy.
Interestingly enough, no Boyzone songs started with the letters Q, R or U.
