Here is a quick screengrab I did so you can see the quality for yourself, commentary on this particular channel is English.

That looks excellent in comparison to some of the others

No rules against posting to streaming sites here fella, so link away.

I want to take a look at it myself as I don't fancy watching Fiorentina-Juventus on Bet365. The quality of their video is piss-poor this season...

Sorry for the big photos but if I dont link to the original size I doubt you'll be able to read the text.  Also sorry for the typos.

Now what you do is:

Get Sopcast: http://download.sopcast.cn/download/SopCast.zip

Go here: http://www.myp2p.eu/competition.p...rt=sports&discipline=football

1:  Click on the icon of a tv with a -> arrow, on the far right.

2: Now you will (hopefully) see a big list of channels.  Ignore the ones that are related to the bet sites.

3: The best one I find is one called Cable Soccer, it's Chinese (not saudi like I told Micky earlier) but has fully English commentary on the Serie A at least.

Here is a little screenshot & instructions for the upcoming Roma game, the channels tend to be offline untill about 15m before the game.

Copy and paste into sopcast here:

A few TV controls

Hope this helps.

I take it you need to download a p2p thingy first, which do you use GC?

If you can put up with the dodgy pictures, this place is not too bad:

Navigate to sports and there are some links to todays games

Yeah it tells you which software to use as it's link specific.  Currently watching a very impressive Ronaldinho tearing apart Bologna.

For those now looking for a way out of Setanta, be warned the cancellation process is neither straightforward or simple.

Not a word, it's been quite a while now. B@stards.

Watched Juve on Sunday night through William Hill and was very happy with it so I don't really care. I'll keep Setanta while there are decent EPL matches but when I get bored it will get the chop.

Friend at work told me the same thing - you can't get hold of the cancellation team and they don't like you to cancel.

Aww shucks, I've got a real problem there.

One click on my internet banking will sort the f**kers out.

Don't you get rai international in the UK? Picture quality is poor but at least they show four games when the round is on a weekend.

Setanta sport over here only has rights to home games for Atalanta Chievo, Palermo, Reggina, Sampdoria, Siena & Udinese. But they only show the game when one of the top 4 roll in.

We've also got espn (if you can bare the yank commentary teram like  penalty kick etc) available to us but they don't seem to commit to every round, last yr they showed rd 1-3 then nothing until rd 37!!! Last weekend was a first they showed three games in one round.

Personally EU should force football to be shown on free to air, might help curb modern football.

Do they do live streams of Italian Football now?
Have an account with them already so that would be sweet, whats the picture size like, is it the same as bet365?

Just got this email back from setanta this afternoon.... Not the news i was hoping for.....!

Dear  Ian

Thank you for your e-mail.

I confirm that with effect from the 2007/2008 football season, Setanta Sport will no longer be showing Serie A football within the schedule. Due to a lack of programming space the decision to remove Serie A was taken to bring more live games to our viewers.

Setanta continues to offer the best of British & European football to our customers including the following:

Holland - Erdivisie
Germany - Bundesliga & German FA Cup
Portugal - Super Liga
France - Le Championnat & French FA Cup
Scotland - Clydesdale Premier League
Ireland - Eircom League
England _ Barclays Premier League & Blue Square Conference League

We also plan to schedule British & European sides. In addition to the best of the England international friendlies, the FA Cup as well as U21/ladies and other FA associated football.

This coverage will ensure we show as much football as possible.

Yours sincerely

I've had that same reply from Setanta. However, another calcio forum has a thread on this subject and it appears that Setanta are sending out lots of confusing emails about Serie A. Some people are being told that they stopped showin git in 07-08 (old news); some are being told that they are definitely not showing it this season; and some are being told that they are still in negotiations for the rights and nothing is decided yet.

It's complete confusion.
