I really am indifferent about Spalletti staying.

He'll be fired next year, mark my words.

Only prob is, who will replace him?

As for Napoli, my grandparents are from there

No news on the takeover front is bad news. A lot of transfers are taking place before the club knows where it stands financially.

Typical bloody Roma.

Last night Sky Sports were saying an offer of 210 million has been made. Who knows whether it is true or not....

Rumours are better than no news. €210 seems a reasonable bid for the club. Just get on with it is all I'll say.

Not too sure about the Michael Owen bid either because he'll be lucky to play ten to fifteen matches a season.Brighi deserves a new contract as he was a revelation last season.

The link with Owen is very worrying, let's hope the scouts have seen him play in the last few seasons and aren't basing their opinion on when he still had pace.....

Very pleased to see that Spalletti is staying, we would struggle to get a better coach on our budget. A coach doesn't become a poor judge of tactics and strategy on the back of one poor season. Maybe he needs better advice and support when it comes to player recruitment but hopefully we can see a fresh start in 09-10 with a fit and motivated group of players!

Michael Owen at Roma would be quite surreal, but I'd like to see him have one last shot at the big time,he would cost ye next to nothing!

Michael Owen is seriously overweight and completely out of condition.

He's washed up. Stay clear.

What's this Frasca like? Ancelotti's sniffing around for him apprently but he'd like to stay in Rome. Good on the lad. I hope you guys have a half decent keeper in him, there's always room for another good Italian goalie.

We could do with a promising goalie. I must admit i know nothing about him but at least he wants to stay.

It would be nice to know who's actually bidding for the club before anything happens. I'm still worried it's a publicity stunt.

These transfer rumours become more laughable by the day and don't refect well on the club or it's fans.

Pavlyuchenko was again linked to Roma in the British press. At least he's youngish and can still score the odd goal although he's struggled in the Premiership.

On the laughable note, on the Skysports News ticker they had Vicinic apparently denying that he's going to Man Utd.

All depends on the supposed takeover. If it doesn't happen I think the club is skint so may have to sell players.

As much as I like Totti, the paper talk of a five year contract is as laughable as our list of supposed summer transfer targets. Two years at the most and then we'll see if he's still fit at the end of that period.

It looks like the takeover could be real but definitive news is in short supply. Just hurry it up!
