Exactly what has Totti ever done for the nationale? The only memories I have of him are of him making a disgrace of himself and the nazionale. He is an idol for Roma supporters and that is fine, but he is of no use the natzionale. Lippi needs to get over his grudge with Cassano and call him up. Everyone knows it is the right move, heck even Lippi probably knows it is the right move, but he is just too stubborn to do it.

Totti was awesome at Euro 2000 and still was very good at WC 2006. Watch the games again and see how well he played. Didn't he lead the tourney in assists? And still not 100 percent.
I would like to see him back if 100 percent fit. I also would would like to see Cassano and Pazzini. They all should be included because Italy's present fowards are not inspiring

No Totti no Party!!!
Vucinic=crap
Taddei=crap
Pizzaro=crap
Too many crap and average players in the lineup
And even though I thought the pk was harsh, why the fick did Burdisso see the need to tackle Nesta in the box? Nesta is a defender and had his back to the goal and a bad angle. Dumbass!
Why do people rate Vucinic??? ZERO GOALS
F'n scrub!

Never have liked Vucinic... he is useless. We were robbed. Menez was pushed over in the area and we dont get a penalty.... Nesta dives and gets a penalty..after Gallianis half time visit to the referees office...mmm... funny that. menez and Vucinic both had chances in the first half to score. Milan were nothing special... we should have won. If we had we would only be one point behind Juve today....... Menez and Guberti bothe played really well.
Looks like Totti will have to have an operation... all we need. _________________ SE NE VANNO I GIOCATORI, SE NE VANNO GLI ALLENATORI, MA ROSELLA TU QUANDO TE NE VAI?

It was certainly a game of two penalties, the Roma one not given was a stone waller as Menez has a clear shot with Dida struggling if he is not tugged.
As for the one given, well you just had to look at the reaction of the whole Roma team to tell you it was not one. Nesta is going away from goal, does not have a shot and there was no need for Burdisso to dive in, however he did get the ball.
Completely changed the game after that. _________________ It's quieter than a church before the crowds arrive.

Completely controlled the 1st half against a poor Milan side, and had chances to make it 2 or 3 nil. As has been said the challenge on Menez was a stonewall penalty, he's actually horizontal by the time he goes to shoot! That along with the soft award for the tackle on Nesta added up to another hard luck story with refs at the San Siro, no surprises there then.
We should never have lost the game, apart from the 2nd goal (which was excellent play by Pato, though Riise should have got closer to him) Doni barely had anything to do. Vucinic should have scored when he was in on goal but I'm not going to slaughter him for one average performance, he's obviously not fully match fit and I thought he and Menez linked up well in the 1st half.
Was also impressed with Guberti, he looked tricky and keen to take on defenders which is exactly what we'll need if Totti is out for longer than expected.
Obviously frustrating but at least with Juve, Fiorentina and Sampdoria drawing and Genoa getting thumped we didn't lose too much ground on our challengers.

I still can't believe we lost that game. The referee was very poor for the two major decisions and it cost us dear. At least we played well in the first half.

Still, why did Burdisso see the need to go in for a tackle there on Nesta? Dumbass
Ref was bad, but we still should have been smarter and won the game

It was indeed a poor decision by Burdisso and incredible that we lost the game, but I think we can at least take more positives from the game than Milan can.
A couple of our fringe players came in and performed well (Menez & Guberti), on the whole we looked solid defensively and of course Doni is back as well, which should please everybody?? No??

I'll go along with that Lupo, though unfortunately Doni did look a bit weak in attempting to claim the cross for their goal
It was a massive improvement in the 2nd half and even the perhaps understandably disappointed "Fulham supporting" Channel 5 team admitted we deserved something from the game. Fulham basically parked the bus in the 2nd half. A great finish from Andreolli for the goal and what a time to score, if we'd lost we would have been in serious trouble in the group.
Worrying how far off the pace Brighi looked in the 1st half, not sure if you saw the match Duncan but even you might admit Pizarro (and Vucinic to a lesser extent) transformed the way we performed after the break. Obviously one decent half against a tiring Fulham team doesn't make Pizarro a world beater (I'm often quick to get on his back as well), but it does show what he gives to the team with his range of passing.
Menez again looked fairly dangerous without really getting the rewards and De Rossi drove the team forward as ever in the 2nd half.
We saw both sides of Mexes though, looked slow to close down players and almost lazy in 1st half, but seemed to improve in the 2nd half. Bit worrying considering the comments he's made in recent days about "missing everything" about Spalleti since he's left.
Here's to a goal or two against Livorno at the weekend.

Playing Livorno should help the Roma cause this week.
Menez caused some problems for the D last week so maybe he's got his act together? _________________ Play "Live" Serie A Fantacalcio!

The first half was terrible. Menez was terrible the entire match and why on earth did he take the penalty instead of Pizzaro??? I knew he'd miss. With no idea as to when Totti will be back Vucinic and Menez need to start scoring goals and fast. Guberti played well and Okaka was awful! Glad to Mexes playing well again. _________________ SE NE VANNO I GIOCATORI, SE NE VANNO GLI ALLENATORI, MA ROSELLA TU QUANDO TE NE VAI?

I didnt think it was possible, but it was..Vucinic was even worse today! To the point where the entire stadium errupted into boos everytime he touched the ball. He missed a shot on an open goal and Guberti kept on setting him up and he kept on messing it up.. Why didnt Guberti start instead of Taddei??? Why on earth did Faty start and why did he put Pitt on!!! What has happened to Cicinho and Juan and why was Brighi on the bench??????????????????????????????????? Even De Rossi was off form. Menez wasnt great but Taddei was worse and should have gone off instead. Where was Pizarro??? _________________ SE NE VANNO I GIOCATORI, SE NE VANNO GLI ALLENATORI, MA ROSELLA TU QUANDO TE NE VAI?
