Justin TV should have a feed for the match against Tottenham and I'll post a link if one's available. I'm quite looking forward to this match and hopefully we'll field a strong side.

I hope, Ljungberg isn't even being thought about.

I thought we were tight, Giovinvco only earns aournd £40,000 per season which is paltry in this current football climate.

God it's quiet on here.
At least we're not playing champions league qualifiers this week and can't be knocked out of Europe a la Rangers. The first two goals were a joke on Sunday and with a man sent off as well, the result was never going to be great.
Anyway Forza Roma.

Pre Season means little really, what counts is when the season actually starts.
I'm sick of these rumours, actually sign someone!!

Please, no more Brazilian GK's!!! I can;t take it anymore.
Wilhelmssen talking smack about Roma? Who is he again and what did he do for us? Squat!
Can we please at least sign one player of note. I know we don;t have too much cash, but we do have some. I am not fond of anybody we are looking at , especially with the price tags attached to them.
How about some Italians please?

Sad news for De Rossi and his family, him and his young family must be going through a tough time.
Condolences for the family.

Wow, we actually signed someone! Still don't think we'll have too much of an impact on the league this season though. _________________ Forza Roma!

Baptista is an ok signing, but I need to be convinced.
See the rumor mill has D'Agostino and Bovo maybe getting Azzurri callups.
I wonder what they have in common........More of our youth players given up on too soon so we can sign some scrub @ss stranieri

I think Baptista is perfect for the system we play. He's a talented player, but he's neither a striker or a midfielder. Ideal for the central role behind Totti in our 4-2-3-1.
If everyone is fit and we have Totti as the lone centre-forward supported by Vucinic wide left, Baptista in the middle and Taddei wide right, we'll be frightening for anyone.
Taddei has been great for Roma, but he always kind of surprises me by being great - maybe he's the weakest link now. It would be nice to replace him with someone like Suazo or, my dream signing, Quagliarella.

Always been a fan of Taddei and to say he was signed on a freebie.
Baptista hopefully will be a good signing strong been known to play throughout the central midfield roles to an attacker.

There isn't much out there who isn't available at a premium, prices are too high and we can't really compete.

D'Agostino has not lived up to expectations though. Since we have thus far kept De Rossi and Aquilani who are both younger then him, and already both regulars for the national team (espec Daniele) and both better then him. Plus you consider we had Mancini (yes gone now) and Taddei then i don't think getting rid of him was all that bad business. (not that there isnt time to prove me wrong)
Would've been nice to keep Bovo but again, not a loss where we've seemingly struggled as a result of 'getting rid'. _________________ Forza Roma!

Yeah, but what is the price of the players we had to get to replace them> Useless argument I know, because who would have known what would have happened.
I still like the idea of letting some of our own players have more of a chance. It takes some players longer to get it together than others. It is also much cheaper and we are heavily in debt.
I still wouldn;t mind seeing D'Ago and Bovo and Curci in our lineup.
