down to 10 men again although thought the second booking looked very harsh.
happy enough witha point but we need to put a run together which will see off Roma and we have some tough games to come, ie Juve, Lazio and Milan still to play.
Feeling sorry for Crespo as he seems to be suffering by not getting on because we are down to 10 men.

(From inter.it)

Juve (H) almost looks easy compared to Lazio (A), Atalanta (A), Fiorentina (H).
Ending with Milan, Siena and Parma is OK but Parma will be fighting for Serie A survival.
Let's hope old boy Cuper (who I liked) does a good job at Parma to steer them clear of the relegation fight..

Interesting to see the response on Sunday against Palermo, hopefully Totti's comments gives the boys enough incentive to close the championship in the next three rounds.

What is it with us not being able to beat Serie B sides

Oh well Mancio said he'd rather win the championship in the last round let's see what he's got.

On today's performance, Matrix should not be going to Euro 2008

Materazzi's performances all season haven't been to his usual standards, fine in the air struggling at ground level looks like he's lost a couple of yards as well. Personally I believe it's because of the injury he suffered with the azzurri in August, last season he owned the field. Ironic really.

9 points in the last seven rounds plus the Liverpool defeats, really we've never returned since the break. Losing Cordoba on top of Samuel has exposed us and I'm not sure how long Mancio will persist with a forward and midfield set up that isn't working.

Compared to last year we're worse in defence, missing Deki's usual drive forward (again I believe it's fitness) and also Crespo's goals, nearly every goal he scored last year was worth three points. Also last year there seemed to be a more united caused within the group
there was healthy competition for spots this year it seems Mancio has his preferences regardless of who is and isn't fit.

I thought Maniche & Balotelli were ok today when they came on which makes you wonder why we haven't seen more of them sooner. Particularly Maniche who's been basically bottom of the pecking order out of our midfielders and a midfield with has been struggling to stay healthy.

A good test of character coming up. All the pressure will be on Inter I'm sure 2002 stories will soon hit the media.

At least with the red card count and a few other decisions that we've recently missed out on the pressure on the ref's might ease up a bit going into the home stretch.

It's all going to pot at the moment!

The break over the festive period has done us no favours as we've never got going again.  Mancini is not helping, too many personal battles going on and he's not helped ease the rumours on his own future.

Regardless of what happens it's looking increasingly likely that Jose will be in charge next season, which I for one would be delighted about - here's hoping we manage to give him a title winning team to take over.

Mancini is a dumb@ss for playing Cruz ahead of Crespo the last month or so, if not the season.

Hi guys,

Can anyone from the Black & Blue corner recommend any cheap (no more than 150 Euros) though pleasant hotels (the two, I believe, can coincide) in or near the centre of Milan? I planning to visit there in May with a few friends.

Much appreciated.

I have always stayed in the Oro Blu hotel on Piazza Lotto (last metro stop for San Siro).  Nice hotel, great staff, good prices and within walking distance of stadium (about 20 minutes) and right on the metro line for city centre/station trips.

Hotel Splendido two minutes walk from Centrale bus/train station .Handy for the buses from the airports (100 metres) ,metro  and rail station
Hotel Mokinba Kings (or they say Kings Mokinba) on Corsa Magenta.Handy for the tram (number 16) to San Siro and also the renowned Magenta Bar

Both hotels when I have stayed there have been clean and very comfortable and not too expensive at the time

Look them up on www.venere.com

I welcome Mourinho. With our squad he will do well. He likes grafters and will have no problem with the defence (it's either love or hate with Materazzi though...strong personalities but Matrix is commited if nothing else).
The midfield will be fine and he should be able to get the most out of Dejan, who at his best is extraordinary. Too often this year he hasnt been.

My big concern is how he will fare with Ibra..

Bring on Juve and Roma next year. Mentally and physically we will be so so strong with Mourinho. Perhaps not sexy...but when have we been?
