Whaddya think?

Carvalho - Yes. Even at 31.
Deco - Really? He's come off a bad season with little playing time but his quality is still there. Nonetheless, why do we need a player like him? Aren't we sorted in midfield now? Is this a sign Vieira is on his way out? Why bring a 31 year old squad player?

Oh... and I love that Moratti has said Maicon is staying. Drogba though? Really? I like...

                  Cesar
Maicon  Cordoba Samuel Santon
     Muntari Cambiasso Motta

               Balotelli
         Milito     Ibrahimovic

Bench: Toldo, Samuel, Chivu, Zanetti (!), Deco,  Stankovic, ????

Cruz is surely on his way out.
Crespo already gone?
PLEASE SELL RIVAS. I dont want him anywhere near our team again.

We definitely need another striker. There is noone in reserve. That's why Drogba would be a good addition. That would be frightening. It would also mean we could play 3 of the biggest egos in our frontline: Balotelli, Drogba and Ibra. Imagine if Mourinho got them working together. They'd just need to look at defences to make them fall.

why bring in two 31 year olds?i would think that Mourinho sees them at Inter for 2 seasons..possibly the length of time he plans to stay with the nerazzuri!

A few years ago Deco was a fairly consistently effective player for Barca but of course England hasn't been kind to him.

If Mourinho sees a place for him in the team then go for it, although this might leave no room for Dejan, which worries me slightly.

Carvalho? Jose knows him well I would imagine and he's a solid player, get him in. Experience in defence is always a plus.

Where does Deco play exactly? For Barca he played DM but was that an attempt to squeeze his talent into a side overloaded with attacking players? At Porto I thought he was an AM...

Julio Cesar is my favourite Inter player. Zanetti and Cambiasso are great but they're gentlemen. JC is Matrix and Cambiasso's beautiful lovechild.

Serie A will suit Deco just fine in my opinion, he's got an astute footballing brain and can play anywhere in Inter's midfield. At Porto he was great creative force playing behind one or two strikers.
You come out with some funny stuff Bobo I love it  ... beautiful lovechild

I’m sick of reading the crap papers dream up to keep milking coin out of their readers, so I might as well do my own version of fantasy football.

Players to be sold:
Maxwell (7m),
Rivas or Burdisso, I go for Rivas to keep Bobo happy (6m),
Jimenez (10m),
Mancini (12m),
Obinna (5m) ,
Suazo (8m),
Quaresma (12m).

Total sales brings in 60m euro.

Players Leaving
The following have or will, current net wages in brackets (not that I’d have a clue what they get but have doesn’t stop the media from reporting on matters they have nfi about)
Figo (3m), Vieira (2m), Cruz (1,5m), Crespo (1.5m), Adriano (5m).

Total savings in wages probably about 25m in wages before tax,

Players to be brought in:
Thiago Motta and Milito are already in.

The one and only Lionel Messi for 100m euro, trumps Real’s purchases and puts them back to page two. That would really piss Perez off

Gives us a starting 11 of:

          Julio Cesar

Maicon, Cordoba, Samuel, Chivu

  Zanetti, Cambiasso, Motta,
               Messi,

      Ibrahimovic, Milito,

Bench: Toldo, Muntari, Balotelli, Stankovic, Santon, Materazzi,

Squad Players: Orlandoni, Mei, Bolzoni, Burdisso and three kids up from the primavera.

I'm sure goal.com could turn this into a legit headline.

In reality:

Leaves us short in depth and would probably hurt our Scudetto campaign, unless we get a pharmacy like Moggi’s Juve then we’d only need 14 players but with a bit of luck from decent player rotation we might have a chance in Europe.

Reality is Barca will never sell Messi, nor would the kid want to go regardless of the wage on offer. Let alone half the players on my sale list Inter probably still don’t own the card outright as they probably still have instalment payments to make.

Also contradicts my own philosophy of not putting all your eggs in one basket by buying big on one player and having him carry the burden of expectation. Especially when you consider Julio Cesar, Cambiasso & Maicon all came so cheap.

Still leaves us slow in the mid, lacking height at the back and probably a lethal striker short.

Does no-one have a place for Materazzi, not even on the bench (oops, just read Ferri's post more closely ) ?

And Balotelli needs to become a bit less easy to wind up and upset, or I can see him becoming another Italian who nearly made it with one of the big 3, but ended up in the provinces.

read an article today claiming that Jimenez and Mancini are going to West Ham on loan and they'll have first option on both of them at the end of the season, with Nani as their transfer man, they'll be looking at acquiring alot of Italian based talent!

Spot on. His attitude in that U21 was terrible.

I love Mario. He's like Drogba. He's fantastic. Players and the media try to wind him up because they know he has a hot temper but he is class. My only fear is a Fowler situation where the stupid Italian media destroy him. He's strong enough though and has been through enough adversity that I have faith. Forza.

Good news on the Mancini rumours.

Maicon had a blinder for Brazil against the US. The quality of his delivery is superb and it underlines how important he is for us.

Santon doesnt provide the same threat on the left as he's left footed. Im sad that Maxwell is leaving. Chivu is far more defensive (though not fast, he doest have a good left foot on him).

Finding it hard to get excited about Carvalho & Deco.

After the Man U loss Mourinho was complaining about lack of height at dead balls, Carvalho is no taller than Samuel.

Deco in 32 by the time the season starts, is he really a better option than Deki who at least fights hard in midfield to win back the ball. I'd rather we pay Nedved to come to Inter, at least it well piss off the Gobbi

Boring market at the moment, everyone is waiting for Man U & Milan to spend some of the bank guarantees they collected from Real, only once they've been watered down will the market get back to normal.

I dont know. Probably two weeks after the season starts.

Maicon needs to stop being linked with Real. Loads of contradictory things being written about him. On the Inter website he praises Inter many times for helping him to get back to full fitness and yet C4 report him as criticising them (like Kaka did...bigging up the Selecao medical team).

I dont want Higuain if it means we dont have Maicon.

The only player Id accept in exchange is Sergio Ramos. If Inter want to be the best then they cannot sell their best players.

If he does go then I assume Santon would move to right back and Chivu, renowned for his attacking prowess sarcasmsarcasm, would move in at left back. Ugh.

DONT SELL MAICON MORATTI YOU FAGGOT

Don't be too upset, he's a mercenary just like most other players at your club.

“I asked my agent Antonio Caliendo to do everything possible to make me happy again. I am looking for happiness at Inter or another club.”

Money = Happiness

If Maicon is sold it will be a disgrace,he is the best RB in the world and no amount of money should be accepted for him,not even if the scumbags Real bid fro him..please keep Maicon in Serie A

Granted, but only prevents the paperwork being lodged.

Surely a lot of these deals are discussed months in advance.

Do not want to see Maicon move from Inter as it would be another blow for Serie A, which is taking a hammering at the moment with the supposed mass exodus.

Cannot see Real buying him unless they plan to move Sergio Ramos into the middle.

A lot of this will be agent/ media hype about players and teams but would rather we made the headlines for buying reasons rather than selling.

Would not care if Ibra was sold though as he does not give a hoot about anyone/ anything other than himself.
