yeah theres an irish bar just west of piazza venezia - i popped in the last time i was there and they had 7 different champs league matches on at once. overload!
if u use venere don't book any hotel under an customer 8.0 rating but you should get something decent for 50 a night.

Every time I return to Turin I stay at the Piemontese Hotel. Continental breakfast included and about 10-15 minutes from Porta Nuova. Only 5 minutes away from Murphys Bar! Oh the memories!
Hope this helps.

Tried to buy two tickets to Juventus V Fiorentina on listicket, it accepted everything until the very last part, then it just gave some standard error message
I then checked the juventus website and it says only 1 ticket per customer for this game, so i'm going to have to wait till i get to Italy and try and buy them there...

Small/easy
Approx 45 mins by coach, prob about 10 miles
Terravision coach every 15 mins, or bus then metro (I did the former)
10 or 12 Euros return I think it was (defo no more than 15E)
Hope that helps

ya the terravision buses are outside and to the left as you come out of the terminal. 8 euro one way. 40 minutes to get into Rome 15km, they pull up at the train station, (Termini) on the north side of it which would be to the left if you face it.
the bus to the stadium goes from in front of the station across the square a bit (the number 910) that stops in Piazza Mancini and you just walk across the bus park and across the massive bridge to the stadium.

Antigaliticaran and the Club next to it for a few pre match pints over the years....

According to the Milan site there are a list of shops you can buy them from.

yeah - Milan or Besticket is not selling online now. I've found this site http://www.mpestero.com/ but can't vouch for them - the chap running it is called Tonino and seemingly he'll meet you at the stadium with prepaid tickets, charges a tenner per ticket i think.

I was at the Roma-Fiorentina game on 24/2. Walked from the Ottaviano metro near the Vatican. Only 35 minutes walk. This might be a better option after the match as the buses are packed. Also take your passport or identifaction . Been to other Italian matches and only had to produce passport to buy the ticket. At the Olimpico it was different. Was asked for ID at the stadium. Had none. Two of the stewards were OK (older guys ) but one was a jobsworth. Luckily one of the older stewards intervened. So take some ID just in case.
Bus I took from Ciampino had a picture of a man doffing a bowler hat.
5 euros there and 6 euros back from main station.

Romans arent particularly friendly and can be quite rude...ive been living here for 6 years and I have to say that the Southerns are much more friendly. _________________ SE NE VANNO I GIOCATORI, SE NE VANNO GLI ALLENATORI, MA ROSELLA TU QUANDO TE NE VAI?

Juve tickets?
Juve-Napoli tickets were supposed to go on sale at 3pm (BST) Monday. I checked the website at 6pm on Monday and since then, but they are not on sale. Surely they didn't sell out in 3 hours! Maybe they did!
I'm going to the Juve-Parma game in two weeks and i'll probably be in work when they go on sale so won't be online until 6pm again.
Does anyone know if listicket are definitely still selling Juve home tickets this season?
Footnote: the lega-calcio are taking their time releasing the exact date/time of the game (as usual)!

Yeah that really annoys me as well, makes day trips impossible. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do now, I was looking at Pisa-Chievo and Fiorentina-Samp next month but I have my dissertation due in the day after... I guess I could get it done early though, then Italy would be the ultimate reward :D
Failing that I might look into Naples and possible Napoli-Milan weekend... I've still got the offer of a Milan derby ticket but am not sure I want to go back to Milan so soon.
