Andrade's injury has just shown up the lack of depth I felt existed at centre-back. The only back-ups without moving Grygera or Chiellini across are Boumsong and Legrottaglie, and even though the latter was solid at the weekend, he showed against Cagliari what a liability he can be.
I would like to see a younger centre-back like Ivanovic brought in, but I feel a good experienced one is needed now to help Criscito.

Tonight is the nght Palladino, Iaquinta and Tiago to start.
Pierino will be back for the Mulita.
Rossi I hope you are right. Anf Ithink so too.
Lefrattaglie in place of Andrade.

Nothing but three points will do and it is about time to have a clean sheet.

Chellini in midfield leaves us even more exposed in defence! Needing a solid central defender has been evident since the start of the season. Left with Leggro and Boumsong is frightening!! Someone bring back Ciro Ferrara...

Del Piero's contract is still in negotiation. He has a point about Nedved being offered an improvement... the management need to be reminded that his assists and goals have kept us in many a match. Forget about the missed penalty against Roma, he did after all provide the ball to Iaquinta to cross for Trez' goal. He should be given the contract he wants.

It is quite disgraceful how ADP is being treated. How quickly they have forgotton how he was our top scorer last season again

All points agreed. The max Pierino should get is 2.5m maybe 3m at a stretch for 1 more season. 5m. and 3 more seasons? In his dreams!

I would not blow this out of proportion. He will sign a new contract but for less money. He is a reasonable man and has the club's interest at heart...

They should bloody give capitano a decent contract, get his mind fully on the game.

Lefrattaglie scores and, I know it ain't with Real or Barca, played a very good game.
Palladino at last. A new n. 10 dawn?
Rossi there will only ever be one Capello's Juventus, most look average in comparison. Had he only not mentally 'constipated' in Europe....
The one we want to win is Sunday. Fratello i Bovini-Mulita can't be too happy at present. Do you ever go on www.lastampa.it, sport section and the forum dedicated to Juventus?

Buffon is fit to play!
Left the field because of a twinge in the thigh muscle but he is not injured.

Remind me Dylan, when did Juve last score 14 goals in five games (and conceded 6)?...This is not the Juve I know (six or seven goals in five games while conceding one or two) but I like the goals I am seeing!

Dylan

What I am saying is that in comparison to pre SerieB Juventus these great Roma, Inter, Milan and Fiorentina are sort of average hence the current Juventus is not out of the title race. Even though the Gobbini are playing it down.
And when Tiago gets up to speed we will enjoy first class enteetainment. He needs to play behind the strikers in Rui Costa fashion. At least that is my comparison.

|
Last night's result was much needed after some of the doom and gloom of recent times. I'm glad to hear Legrottaglie played well. He's going to be needed for the next few months, and I hope he can keep that form up. Good to see Palladino get a run-out as well, and he scored. Hopefully Ranieri won't be so afraid to use him now.
|
Macxz
|
Encouraging performance, but against a better side, I hope the defence can raise themselves. Tiago will come good, but he needs time to play. Palladino could well be the inheritor of the Number 10.
I still think that Alex deserves a good contract. He can still turn a game for us and is great for the likes of Palladino to learn from.
We're still in this title race...

Well, as usual capitano will have last laugh on Sunday night...
He will beat rats alone...
Nothing to add...if they cant offer him more money, just need to appear in front on fans and say it...
Simply say WE DONT NEED CAPITANO, HE CAN GO...HE ISNT IMPORTANT.
It is fair, and not to handle him like it...
Of course I think Ale will be in Juve when f**king Secco and Blanc became past...it is fans view...not only me, but majority of Juventus fans.
Of course you can argue that we are not important but we will see about it...
Police repression and f**king Moggi and Giraudo didnt crash us, I wouldnt expect these muppets to do it...
Anyway, back to rats thing...we will teach them lesson on the pitch and on the stands....as usual...

Hoping for a win over Torino with Tiago in the starting Xi and all our players:-
1. Avoiding a red card.
2. Avoiding injury.
Beginning to see signs of some spirit re-emerging at the club. Once Tiago, Almiron and Nedved get the forward play nice and fluid, Ale, Trez and Iaquinta will score plenty goals.
Forza Juve..........................

Fratello if you go on the Juve forum of LA STAMPA you find that the opinions on Pierino are at least 50/50. One year at 2.5m is plenty. After all in the words of Umberto Agnelli 'We bought Del Piero again' when Juventus made him the highest paid player in Serie A.
Secco and Blanc in many's eyes are incompetent however Pepe, 30m, is on the bench and Milito, 25m., has not set the world on fire. Tiago is getting good.
Pierino and Nedved are ready for the Bovini.
Since 1907 in Turin has taken place a very 'piemontese' public form of entertainment: The mounting of the Bulls. The is perfomed by specially selected Zebras the one that distinguished themselves by kicking lions in the teeth, stamping on leopards crocodiles and snakes of the 'petrol pump' variety.
Following the mounting, the bulls are taken by veterinary surgeons to the peak of one of the hills in the city, named after a training shoe, where the bulls cry very quietly whilst praying to their bovine gods.

Great result obviously, but why was Ranieri playing Palladino in midfield instead of Salihamidzic....midfielders are for midifield, forwards for forward.
Apart from Nedved our players are not thinking on the ball, they were just kicking the ball aimlessly up to the Torino defenders...this is a stupid tactic, we clearly need five midfielders, whether that's sacraficing a defender or forward. We are just trying to by-pass midfield at the moment because with Nedved and Palladino we are effectively playing with 4 forward players, there is no-need for this if we at least play actual midfielders when we are playing with 4 accross the middle. 4 forward type players might look good against Reggina on Wednesday but if we do that against better teams we'll struggle.

A win, against Toro, three points, second position and a clean sheet. This is what matters. I do not know what Ranieri is doing in the midfield but frankly I do not care. I thought we lost against Udinese becasue of a weak midfield but looking back we were unlucky then. What this team has is heart. The players seem to have started to gel and to think as a unit. We still need to bring in a top midfielder but I like the look of this team. MORE IMPORTANTLY, I LIKE THE HEART AND SOUL THAT THIS TEAM HAS. Hell we won ourselves five extra points so far from goals scored after the 88th minute!!! It tells you something. Bring on Fiorntina!
The results of the other teams went in our favor. Napoli, Palermo and Roma lost and AC Milan drew again....
Nedved is not himself...this is the second game running where he misses from close range. Hats off to our biggest signing of the summer: TREZ.....

Yes but he's the only player that was picking out Juve players with his passes, all the others just hoofed it up to the Torino defenders.
I'm not questioning the players attitude but Ranieri's tactic today of playing a forward in the midfield clearly needs a re-think.

Yes brother, they had more tickets of course...cause they were hosts...but still someof our friends bought ticket from them...same will be in second half of the season when we have number advantage...
It wasnt clash between fans but with police, that managed to make free space between opposing fans...stuff as usual, some people are lighlty injured, some are arrested but nothing like old days...
It is more fasnionable these days
Good atmosphere at the stands...good presentation by Granata fans even had some stupid banners...
No need about talking offside, every f**kin TV pundit said David wasnt offside...rules are clear, when stupid Mulita defender touched the ball it was assist for our player...
Fiorentina is next...it is another enemy...usually tough away game but we will survive...
Still I regret about not having at least one defender...we would take title...
Rossi my friend I wasnt drunk...simply it is not allowed on derby day...I needed my head clear...
Today every paper spotted we had whole summer transfers on the bench...Serie B team was on the pitch...
Secco and Blanc
Also today main story is about Mourinho coming to Juve...I like him, but dont touch Ranieri...he is brave and never moaning about injuries, refs and other things...

I've been told that Sebastian Giovinco plays in a similar role to Pirlo, though for Empoli he seems to play as more of a second striker (a Tottti-type role) or behind the front two. How well do you guys rate him?

I've not seen the goal, but from the sound of it, it was never offside. Fantastic result, with the 93rd minute winner making it all the sweeter. Thank god for David Trezeguet, the one man who can always be relied upon to do his job.
On the subject of Giovinco, I am excited by him. He brilliantly set up a goal for Trezeguet in a game at the end of last season, and from the brief videos I've seen of him he has plenty of skill, vision and flair.

Rossi I am serious about Legrottaglie, he was described as a lion against the Mulita. I have stopped calling him Lefrattaglie, at this rate Andrade, when fit, will sit on the bench.
Fratello seconded on the return of our boys. I recall Giraudo being asked which players he would want to see at Juventus 'the Juventus youngsters' was the reply.
And 3zeguet really is something else. And to think that there were people demanding a swap plus money to sign Gilardino.

About Giraudo, I dont know when he said it...he is merda but compared to Secco and Blanc, Moggi and co were real professionals...
And joke of the day is Torino f**king presidente that will walk into Serie B next summer...he thinks we are not good enough to race for title...

No player is bigger than the club, Sivori and Baggio left Pierino pales in comparison on footballing grounds. And had we kept Mutu...
He is struggling, like Nedved, over the 90 minutes. Neither are the same players they once were. Time is a getleman but the mirror never lies. Platini got it right. Juventus ought to be grateful to Pierino but he is what he is because of JUVENTUS.
Iaquinta up front and Palladino on the left as and when needed and the opposition lose some fire Pavel and Alex are available.

Because they were asking for different things. ADP is not accepting a pay cut but with our current state of finances this may be necessary. I agree with Dylan that Juve is bigger than ADP. But I also think this is media talk. They will agree to something. If not a 30% drop then a 15% drop starting next year, or something of that sort. ADP still has at least a couple of years in him. So far this season he has been unlucky...with a little bit of luck he would have scored three goals at least. We can still rely on him to turn things around when it matters.

Del Piero may not have made the best start to the season, but he's still showed his class at times, and deserves to be treated with more respect. Sergio Aguero, or as he is known as Kun, is hell of player, for me most talented guy in world beside Messi...
But I dont think Atletico will sell him, especially as they have more money than us in the moment. Anyway stories appeared after Kun said he is life born Juventino and has only dream to play with us in post Del Piero era...
Brother, Florian Kringe is solid German player, hard working midfielder something like Zanetti but younger...could be good move on free...
Anyway Ivanovic stays at prime target...there are some stories that Tiago will be sold if he cant improve till winter...
Dont know, I prefer Zanetti, Nocerino, Almiron, Nedved fighting midfield...
And next year Paro, De Ceglie and Marchisio will be back...
Anyway I still think Tiago is too weak for Italian football...
No Firenze for us...I will spend weekend in plans how to make Secco suffer...I wrote him letter and many fans will do the same...
No one could f**k with our capitano...
I would like Secco to come out and say, look Ale we dont need you...

I doubt Juve could afford Kun Aguero. I think he cost around £18m at the age of 18 when he was unproven in Europe. After having a superb U20 World Cup and now banging them in week in week out in La Liga, Atletico wouldn't allow him to leave for anything under £30m.

But I'm really chuffed with the way we've started this season, I was thinking at the beginning that we'd may be able to push for a UEFA cup place but if we keep on keeping on we can make a champions league spot & I know that its still early in the season but there's no harm in being optimistic.

I still remember the days when we 'made the money available' to buy the best there is. We always had the money when it mattered most. Back then though, we had owners who cared and who put the club's interests at heart. Still, we will have new owners sooner or later...Juventus is one of the biggest brands in modern world and someone will big money will step...
I dont care about family anymore, in fact there is no family as successors are morons without any respect for Juventus...
We have to turn page, not because money ( I would be happiest man alive to see Juventus side composed by our youth and maybe two or three French players ) but because Gigli, Secco cant run Juve...
In fact if some of the real family man was alive, merda Moratti would hide as usual and not send us in Serie B...

Drughi Kringe will play for Juventus next season, on a free, Secco can't be that much of an idiot. Ideal replacement for Nedved.
Do you realise that the new management tool over a club in Serie B, -30, without a coach and a commitment to buying the Delle Alpi compounded by the loss of 70% income through sponsorships and TV revenue. Not withstanding income from European competitions. Then Ibrahimovic, Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Mutu, Vieira, Thuram and Emerson moved out.
Apparently the so much missed Triade did not let the opportunity to line their pockets go by. Glaring example the 'Mutu deal', a free transfer that gave Moggi a luxury apartment in Posillipo. Funny how Giraudo and Andrea Agnelli now work an live in London! And Juventus are suing Giraudo fratello if I am not mistaken.
Some of the bigger names they went after refused because of lack of Champion L. and the fact that Juventus could not even guarantee, at the time, that Buffon, Nedved, 3zeguet and Camoranesi would stay.
Almiron everybody raved about him.
Tiago definitely a class act was the feedback
Andrade the original injury was underestrimated perhaps, but bad luck is part of life.
Iaquinta much maligned is turning out to be a new Penna Bianca, so long as Ranieri turns him around at half time, he will go.
And I remember a lot of people arguing for 3zeguet to be replaced by Gilardino!!
Grygera does what it says on the tin, now that he is fit.
Branco another piccolo soldatino, he will play anywhere.
The kids are fine, you can't burn them out. And the spirit at the club is huge, they'll sweat blood for one another.
Bob Vieri(the new Sivori), Oliseh, Appiah, Alessio, Magrin(free kicks like Platini), Tavola, Galia, Zavarov, Aleinicov, Andi Muller, Reuter(turbo!), Platt, Ban, Barros(great with his head on ground crosses), Athirson, Sorin...did I buy them?
At least Alessio Secco does not appear on TV, lazy eye, looking like and extra from a Scorzese movie, pretending to be god fearing saying 'I will only ever tell you the truth' or 'Honesty is my DNA'
Sometimes life is not just what should be, might be, has to be but be grateful for what you have got.

Dylan. I do not and will never miss the Tirade days. We were brought humiliation due to their actions only. The players and coach had nothing to do with it. And while we were on the floor, everyone wanted to take a kick as they could not do so when we were standing. The Tirade are back in business so to speak and I did not see them get penalized in any way. The referees who are supposedly ancillaries in all of this, walk out free for lack of evidence. So where does this leave the club? all along I have been saying that the scudetto given to Inter is a joke because that particular season was not even investigated. What do we do now that the season that was investigated and was the basis of our punishment is not turning out to be what they said it was!!
We have a management of technocrats. This is a fact. This is not necessarily bad as they were entrusted with literally saving the business, the brand name and so on. Their biggest achievement is bringing us back to Serie A and keeping the champions on board. The signings were not bad but I still feel we could have done better particularly with the type of money Secco said we had. This said, if we end up in the top four then I can see us being able to bring in the big names: the Platinis, Baggios, Viallis, Zaidans and Nedveds of the generation.

People, Secco is just puppet of Luciano Moggi, he made him director...
I dont miss f**king Moggi and Giraudo, hope they will burn in hell...but also current board is incapable of anything...
Huntelaar, Van der Vaart, Ivanovic, Meira didnt reject transfer....no f**king idiots said we dont need them...
14 millions for Tiago, 10 for Andrade... ...with 24 millions we could bring Ivanovic and Van der Vaart and lift title easily...
Who is responsible? We threw money and now play with Serie B team...dont talk about Grygera and Salihamidzic, we brought them on free...so if we talk about transfer money we had it and did nothing...
Point is that Secco and other fools are guilty for bad judgement...in this league we could dominate with just one defender and someone to replace Nedved...
About Gilardino, I have never liked him...
About Ale...I cant see them leaving for Milan...but if he left club Secco and other merda will be in big trouble...
I still cant understand why we didnt sell Camoranesi...Lyon was full of money...midfield isnt our priority, defence is...
We had great chance to f**k merda in first season and stupid Secco blew it...
Did I sell Mutu to f**king Fiorentina and brought Bojinov?
Secco is moron and will pay price...

Meira for one refused Juventus on C. League gtounds as Van Der Vaart.. And Meira's wife did not fancy living in Turin.
Huntelaar chose to stay at Ajax for at least on more season.
Camoranesi is, currently, our best player.
Mutu, once resurrected his carreer, did not like doing Serie B. And with Pierino he would have had no look in, the same goes for Miccoli.
At the time everybody in the Italian media thought Bojinov was the next golden boy and Dechamps used to get blame for not playing him.

Look brother, Van der Vaart is out of CL and he just wanted to leave HSV...
Difference between Torino and Stuttgart is like between living in Paris and Naples ( Torino is like Paris )...
Camoranesi is merda that dont deserve to play for Juve...maybe he is good player but we had to take big money for merda and bring some serious player...
Mutu could stay...he was just disappointed in Capello bad judgement...
Man, we had Mutu and Del Piero on the bench and played with funny Swedish merda that looked like ball boy...
Taking a title
Bojinov is fat shit...nothing else...
Deschamps left because Secco...

A youth Supercoppa win against Inter. Yet again. I guess the nerazzurri just can't buy the Argentinians at a young enough age to fill their Primavera squad. Oh well.
I hear Pasquato is next great youngster to follow through Juve future. Here's hoping!

Did you think about following Juventus in Serie B?
On a very superficial level. The Triade had left. On the other side there was the chance to stay in Serie A and, furthermore, in a place like Florence! I chose Prandelli, the coach I had at Parma. Extraordinary. Well had Prandelli been the Juventus coach, for someone like him I would have accepted even relegation. But only for him

Tiago back to Portugal. I am not sure this makes sense as it is still too soon in the season unless there are other problems that we do not know about in the dressing room or traning pitch. If he goes, we need to bring back Marcisio..

It is classical example of false champions influence...refs will do everything to stop us...
Every dubious decisions will go against us...
Good performance...Almiron looked very solid like in preseason...
to Vieri...I hoped Chiellini will break Bobo stupid head...
We are much better team than Fiorentina...at least I dont worry about 4th place anymore...

You seem to be a bit of a moron mate. Maybe it's just the mediocre English that gives that impression.
However, the Juve goal should have been disallowed for offside (like last week's one) and Fiorentina should have had a penalty earlier for a sandwich on Semioli. The Chiellini - Vieri incident could have led to a second penalty.
Fiorentina were understandably under the weather after their extra time and pens in the UEFA Cup. What's GiùBe's excuse?

At least he speaks a second language. Go back to your joke of a team and try to name one Italian player who you can field on any given day. "Should have been disallowed" - thank you for the credible opinion. Now go back to where you came from.
On a side note - three tough away games - draws against Roma and Fiorntina and a win against Granata. Not bad for a team that spent one tenth of Inter's budget and is fresh from Serie A. Yes, Drughi - no worries in as far as fourth place is concerned. I would actually shoot for higher.

I took plenty of positives out of today's game. For me, judging on previous decisions I've seen, the goal was correctly given. I remember a similar one going against us at Real Madrid in 2003. For the record I actually believe that goals like that shouldn't stand, but the rules seem to suggest that they should.
Away from that though it was a good performance, where the team defended much better, and the midfield was the key in that. With 4 in there, the team looked much firmer, and much harder to break down. Players like Almiron and Nocerino worked very hard and provided good protection. Nedved as well played much better. He looked creative and was unlucky not to score, a big improvement on what I've seen so far this season.
In defence, Legrottaglie was excellent until he decided to stick his arms out in the penalty area. Grygera is very good as well, which is brilliant as that means Zebina has no chance of getting back in. I also like the look of Molinaro. That defence I feel is definitely the best available at present, and will keep a lot of clean sheets, as long as Legrottaglie doesn't go and give away any more penalties.

He came in the second half against Roma and helped the team keep a clean sheet since that point. I think he deserves a chance..

Look InterAteo I know some kids have no social life, problems with skin, lack of understanding by parents...
Mate, you feel world is too severe for you so in dark of your room it is kind of revenge to insult people via net. Because they cant catch you...
Here is advice...pain will stop when you get some life, grow up and make some friends. Dont be afraid of other people, try to relax and you will see...life isnt so complicated as it seems in your age.
Hope your life will be better.
And yes, you choose wrong club as Mensa FC makes people being loser in early age. Later it will be much harder to correct, believe me...
It is always sad to see young people being confused by life...but virtual life isnt answer, you know?

Are Milan awarded a penalty in every single f%&king game...every time I check the goal scorers it says Kaka from a penalty!!!

Duncan!

Watched the game and thought he result was about right. Trez goal I would have counted, and Leggro arm was a penalty.
Not a bad run of results for you guys I must admit.
I see Mancini over at , as Drughi says, "MensaFC" says that there are not enough Italian players good enough for Inter.
Let's see, Italy are world champs, Milan are Euro champs, Roma, Lazio, Milan, Fiorentina, Juve, usually start 5-6 Italians, etc.....
Roberto Mancini=moron
I think he is still upset over living in Il Codino's shadow and thinks he is actually an Argentine

Mancini was neither fish not meat as a player, as an international he was totally ineffective. One the players and individuals in football i genuenily despised and still do. Yes il Divino made Mancini look what he was, is and always will be: a pitiful spiteful ovrgrown dwarf.
Fratello, Rossi why do you waste your time acknowledging certain posts. We know where we are at.
Duncan fair account of the game. Legrottaglie did little wrong, Molinaro and Grygera are 'growing' and Chiellini is becoming an indispensible. Almiron is starting to guide the team, always knew he had vision and feet to match yesterday he was winning the ball back too.
Iaquinta will go through brick walls and he shows how 3zeguet, Nedved and Pierino have lost a bit of pace.
Palladino looked stronger and he showed again he can be Pierino's replacement.
Look if at the beginning of the season I had been tol;d we would be second 3 points behind the petrol pump attendant's Foreign Legion I would have said: in your dreams. Perhaps I am easily satisfied.
Drughi let the others do the moaning and groaning, what goes around...and, ultimately, revenge is wonderful.
Ranieri is a gentleman.

We are all guilty. We squandered the club's money....What will save Secco's ass is that he made that call to Nocerino when he was on his way to Florence...
