Forza Sampdoria! Can't remember if we have a thread for the Blucerchiati but based on their performances so far this season, they deserve one.
The game this afternoon has been brilliant to watch, especially the second goal from Mannini

oh, and it may only be against a ten man Bologna, but Cassano has been immense.
If Lippi continues ignore the lad, there need's to be some kind of national campaign to get him back in the squad

National campaigns do nothing. Which is why Baggio was left home when he should have been in the squad for Korea/Japan. Everyone was calling out for him. Even Lippi did not favour him at Inter. Evidently Marcello doesn't care about the greatest Italian talent in the land and nobody will change his mind. Probably everyone else's insistence will make him dig his heels in further.
Glad Sampdoria won, would like them to put a good challenge in right up to the end of the season.

We don't, and they do!

Duncan!

Don't forget Pazzini! He also should be in the Italia squadra. The only target men I would take to South Africa would be Pazzini and Gilardino.
Ohters should include another Samp player, Cassano

'Ugly story' keeps Cassano out

Any ideas what this 'ugly story' might be?
