I cant make my mind up on which team to support. Im not a glory hunter, so Inter, Milan, Juve are out I would think, yet I dont want a team thats gonna end up in Serie B, that would be hard to watch/follow.
Ive visited Catania & Palermo, so dont know whether to support either of these, but only because ive visited the places briefly?.
Tuscan clubs sound appealing ust incase I ever go there for a holiday?.
Any suggestions, or what I should consider?. Decisions, decisions!!!.
Failing that, its names out of a hat lol.
Cheers

You could be just like fellow forum member 'Sir George' and follow no Italian team at all, nor show any form of affinity with Italian football whatsoever.
You could then spend the 50% of your time on this forum posting about Barcelona, and the other 50% trying to goad any fool who dares query the outlandish statements you make in to getting a ban like the pathetic, fat c**t that you are.
Either that, or you could follow Catania or Palermo seeing as you have some sort of link with either city and they both have established Serie A teams that play decent football.
Whatever floats your boat though. _________________ ACF FIORENTINA : FORZA LA VIOLA

I would certainly reconsider supporting Milan. Yes, their glory days are over. I'm quite sure they won't be relegated any time soon, nor will they win anything for a quite a while. SB and AG have a fair amount of years left in them, and until they're six feet under, Milan will sit happily under Serie A’s glory table, and feast on the scraps scrapped off Juve and Inter’s plates...
Mezz, I never knew you harvested such strong feelings towards Sir George

I know you've said no, but why not consider Juve?? Not because of glory hunting or something silly like that, but because it's a team with a lot of heart, with some really talented players, and going against a tough rival.
I mean, nothing against Palermo or Catania, or something of the sort, but football is at its best when you are watching some of the best players around playing a good game.

Consider supporting Sampdoria, Genoa or Fiorentina. All of these teams will be Serie A for the foreseeable future (which really is only a few seconds, so ;what I mean is many years) and may have some cool Uefa cup runs. They have talented players and I like them. _________________ http://bringtheparty.blogspot.com/

If I was beginning with a blank slate, I'd support either Napoli or Genoa.

I've got a soft spot for Udinese. They're a good side who play good football and have a habit of spending little on players who they then go on to earn millions for. _________________ Forza Juve!!!

Mezz and George sitting in a tree?
An astonishing outburst from someone who is supposed to be a site moderator.

I know, it was awesome, wasn't it?
Just for the record, I'm not a 'supposed site moderator', I'm an actual site administrator.
My earlier post was 'banter', as is permitted by the terms and conditions of this very forum, and I'll be f**ked if I'm not allowed to single a particular member out in the very way my intended target singles me out (when they're not posting about Barcelona).
If I'm due a warning for that post then I shall take it on board from whichever of my colleagues deems necessary to warn me, but it was meant as a barbed fist in a velvet glove.
Anyone who actually found it offensive should perhaps look at themselves rather than start flinging virtual fists on behalf of their chums... _________________ ACF FIORENTINA : FORZA LA VIOLA

I don't think I could "choose" a side to support. I've a soft spot for Palermo because I like the city, so if that's one of your considerations, go for it.

I'd recommend just keep watching Serie A and see if anyone stands out, asking us to pick a team for you seems a bit weird. Give it a few months and you may have a few favourite players in a squad or find yourself feeling particularly happy/annoyed if say Samp/Genoa won or lost.
Or just do what I do, have teams you prefer to watch or see doing well (and of course a couple you don't like) and it doesn't limit the games you can watch if you find yourself in Italy.
