This is a topic for your complaints, praise and advice about the website. We're interlinked and it is nice to get an honest opinion about our work.

Starting off, what do you think of the new image macros in our Quotes of the Week page?

don't like it, pictures add nothing.

Can you amend your video section, either add some highlights to the footage or change the name to goals package.

The dude has a real weird jaw, looks kinda creepy. The quotation marks appearing looks a bit tacky.
Great idea to have a quotes section though. Gives a good flavour on topical issues.

I've always hated that shade of bright green running down the left hand side of the page but I suppose I've learned to love (ignore) it now.

Some of the graphics are a bit tacky, like the above mentioned "flashing quotes" header and the swooshy football image on the home page.

There's far too many different fonts being used in the small image gifs for different sections. The live scores one is alright because it suits but the rest would look better with a chosen typeface across the board.

Oh and your desktop wallpaper selection could do with summat a bit classier. The majority of those would give me a headache on my desktop.

Gosh it's like being over at the design forum.

Aside from some visual aspects I've always like the layout of the site, be it a little busy. I just think the graphics should be a bit less "shoot magazine" and a bit more stylish Italian.

Maybe readers might appreciate an RSS feed. I know that's popular among news sites. People who sign up to RSS love their news delivered to them, but then maybe it might cut down on C4's traffic and ad revenue. I dunno, I'm not up on my web statistics.

Personally i don't like all the flashing banners, just one for the Live Scores would be my preference as this is the most important feature of all the flashy's, i just think too many flashy's is a bit head-wrecking.

I really hate the popover flash adverts but that'll be a C4 thing and nothing to do with you guys, simple google ads would be fine.

You really just need to sneakly put a link in for this forum rather than the C4 forum. That's all I ask...

Misleading headlines/taking quotes out of context. I know headlines are there to catch the reader's attention, but they can give the wrong impression. eg. the Van Basten one today.

Isn't that what you go to journalism school to learn?

It's one of the better websites anyway..I find that there isn't enough info on European football on sky and bbc websites and top marks for securing the highlights everyweek.

Just one thing, maybe more all time XI's and updated tv coverage(I know there isn't much but the Inter-Milan game is still advertised and it's the 4th of March)

To be fair, there's no TV coverage to update.

Good job on the Luciano Moggi interview in the magazine as well.  Nice to see the other side of Calciopoli, so often ignored by the media, getting some coverage.

I see Jon Palmer has taken over from John D Taylor as the editor of the magazine.

Are the chaps at FI going to be starting a 'Calcio Mercato' guide as they have one in the past, with all the clubs and the various players shifting about ?

I think the official date of the opening of the transfer window is 1st July, maybe the FI team are waiting until then.

If you're feeling nostalgic you can peruse through last years Calcio Mercato!

LoL i guess football italia just noticed it was still there... it seems to have been pulled now. Hopefully that means there will be a version for this season.

I found it very useful last season, i do hope it does return
